The pillows need to be thicker but struggled to find anything to complain about.

No lounge for hotel guests. Makes it difficult for family and friends to visit us at the hotel. Or just to go somewhere to relax that isn't our hotel room. There's the deck area but the weather in Scotland rules this out.

I love everything about this place as there has never been any problems. The restaurant, staff and the bedroom and lodges are fantastic.

Breakfast was good but as always with a buffet breakfast, Luke warm.

Outstanding room. Quiet, no traffic, bright airy feel overlooking a horse exercise paddock and lake. Quite a surprise.

The club is in rural surrounds yet close for the likes of Glasgow It caters for hotel guests both in the hotel and in cabins plus has parking for motor homes It also stables a lot of horses and looks after them The restaurant and bar is in a separate building close to the hotel itself The menu in the restaurant is good as is the surrounds and ambience Food was good value and delicious The bedroom we stayed in was comfortable and clean and spacious The only slight issue with the bedroom was it was on the ground floor by a path so people walk past

Quality doesn’t match the price. We stayed twice and first time our feedback would have been excellent and second time we stayed unfortunately the experience started off already in the reception. Receptionist was arrogant, completely opposite from the first time we stayed. The property we stayed first time didn’t had spa area but was clean. Second property was not clean and we provided pictures on the way we left. Spa area not having an exit from the property is a bit odd… I would suggest to highlight this in the adverts since this was a disappointment once we saw.

My bedroom was a bit tired and needed and update. The bedding and pillows seemed very old. Not very pleasant.

The facilities were great. The bar, restaurant and the food was excellent.

Breakfast was disappointing. Room cleanliness could have been improved. There were toenail clippings on the carpet from previous guests. For £188 per night - we expected better.

Room was small and expected it to be of better standard for £188.00 per night. Carpet had toenail clippings from previous guests!! Breakfast was OK, quality of sausages was poor for the expensive rate we paid.

The location and overall facilities were very good. The on-site restaurant was good and staff very friendly and accommodating. View from room was great, we had lovely walks around the whole estate.

We loved our stay, room was lovely. Just some things weren't the cleaned too great. The stool in room had stain on it and front door covered in greasy hand prints.

A nice quiet location. All staff are lovely. Solo traveller and felt very safe at all times. Would highly recommend it for a couples retreat. Food was fab. Will definitely return

Love the lodges just so cosy and comfortable. Palominos restaurant is excellent and always plenty of food with delicious cocktails. Staff were amazing singing happy birthday to my daughter with sparkler ice cream.
