The confusion over the room not matching the booking.com description was uncomfortable. They were nice and accommodating and I felt like a total “Karen” saying anything. But it’s expensive so it seemed it should be right.

Canaves Oia Suites is in a great location in Santorini - shops, restaurants and all the sights are right there! Our room lovely, very clean, the patio was wonderful. Such amazing views at all hours. We enjoyed having breakfast there each morning. The patio was more private than some others. The room wasn’t quite as described on booking.com. They showed us some other rooms but we decided to stay put. The manager said to always check the property website to be clear what room you’re getting. They did bring us a bottle of wine and plate of meat and cheese, which was nice. The staff was helpful, friendly and accommodating. I have MS and use a cane when traveling. The stairs were a bit of a challenge but do-able for me. We were able to use the elevator to get to the lobby and restaurant. I recommend having them arrange travel to/from the port/airport. The price seemed high but it was equivalent to what we found at the port and would have been private instead of stuffed into a small bus that dropped everyone else off.

This is relative to each individual, but the bed itself could be more comfortable for me. It wasn’t bad though. I like medium-soft, beds are a bit more medium-firm.

The hotel staff here are top-notch. Unbeatable views. The staff upgraded my room as a nice surprise. The food is good, especially compared to the rest of Oia. Recommend the crab salad, shrimp and the Santorinian salad. The loungers in the infinity pool are a nice touch and the pool lounge chairs are also super comfortable. I stayed at Canaves Suites and Katikies(nearly next door). The service at Canaves Suites exceeded Katikies, and I wouldn’t have thought that possible. Staff is genuine.

Great value for your money. The best views, and you don't have to go down 300 steps as compared to the others which give lesser value... The breakfast was perfect The staff were amazing, and it was even more comfortable seeing a staff or two from other races.

Location was perfect. Right in the heart of all the activity but still tucked away in a quiet spot. The included breakfast was probably one of the best I have ever had and the view while you ate was incredible. The pools were always great with beautiful views. Entire hotel was spotless and clean.

Food prices - especially for the lunch menu

The views are breathtaking from every part of the property. It feels quiet and calm despite being situated in the middle of Oia. The staff are kind and attentive and even gave us a complimentary upgrade to a superior suite. The room was beautiful - if you are booking, book a superior, it’s much more private. All in all a wonderful stay and gorgeous hotel. Highly recommend

Wish the elevator went all the way down to the bottom level of the resort, however as I understand it, Canaves Suites & Spa is the only hotel property in Oia with an elevator!

Everything was so perfect at this property and made for an unbelievably enjoyable 25th wedding anniversary celebration. The view of the Caldera from our room was amazing, better than what the pictures viewed online prior to our visit could display! All staff were very accommodating from the moment we walked into the reception lobby. Housekeeping also did a great job cleaning our room everyday and providing an excellent evening Turndown service. We took advantage of Canaves Oia Suites spa services as well. This was the best massage experience I believe we’ve ever had. The steam bath scrub prior to the massage was quite the experience too! Hotel manager Dimitris and his entire team exceeded our expectations! We’ll be back to stay at Canaves Oia Suites & Spa on our next visit to Santorini!

Canaves Oia Suites & Spa was the best place we have ever stayed at. As an airline agent I travel extensively all over the world and have stayed in many beautiful resorts. However Canaves suites exceeded all and every expectation. We celebrated our 30th Anniversary, and the staff were so warm and welcoming. They updated our suite which was beyond phenomenal. Upon entering this two story suite everything was set up perfectly with a warm friendly and endearing Anniversary note, bottle of Champagne and upstairs bed decorated in a heart shape with flowers. The suite was enormous of a posh decor , great ambience, and superbly stylish. The beds were extremely comfortable offering a quiet and soothing quality. Canaves Oia suites left nothing out and lives up to its name and reputation. The staff are exceptional always going above and beyond to elevate our experience. Their hospitality is truly that which needs no change as they are warm, helpful, welcoming tone and, perfect demeanor. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer however will be returning again.

The hot tub/outdoor area of each suite is accessible by other guests, so it’s not as private as we would like. Also, and this is by no fault of the hotel, but if you have loud next door guests then it ruins the ambience.

The views were fantastic! Everything was amazing - from the staff, the restaurant, the suite and the hot tub. The staff really made our stay as they were very accommodating.
