There were only one thing which could have been better :D In room, with coffee, there were no "milk" available. One small minus :D

This hotel definitely exceeded our expectations <3 ! The location is so wonderful! Sitting in the balcony of our room (Aretousa) and looking at the view of Venetian harbor was just out of this world. It was easy to get our car just around the corner to a free parking lot. Delicious breakfast was served to table in lovely Arismari restaurant. A perfect place for breakfast "with a view". Bed was perfect. Never had such good bed in any hotel! Stuff was so kind and wonderful. Throughout our stay it felt that the luxury was in smooth details which we highly appreciated. We both with my spouse agreed that this is the best hotel we have stayed in <3. It's small, very small, and therefor of course not everything available (like pool) that some bigger hotel would have, but in any case, this was just perfection <3 We would definitely recommend this! Our warmest thank you for John and whole personnel!

There has just stairs. So it's hard to carry your stuff if you have a big luggage. But it's not too many stairs. And their staff was carry on our luggages when I arrived.

I appreciated about homemade bread and fresh meals from this hotel. And I love view from our room. It's really beautiful place and really closed to harbor side and lighthouse too. it was perfect to us. Hotel's staff was really sweet and kind to us like a family. They are in a good mood to us. And I was surprised about room because it's better than the pictures.

The owner and the staff are extremely friendly and ready to make sure you have an enjoyable stay. The location is amazing as it is located right on the old harbour and next to the historical streets of the old town. The building itself breathes history. Would strongly recommend it and definitely hope to return in the near future.

we had a little trouble finding the place at first as the taxi cannot bring you through the "pedestrian only" zone, but this was very minor. I wish we could have stayed longer.

My wife and I stayed in early April and found Hania to be amazing and charming, but the crown jewel was the hotel Cretan Renaissance. We thoroughly enjoyed our entire experience. The staff was super friendly and helpful, Zoe and John were very kind to us, and helped me book a last second snorkeling trip. The room was beyond expectations - with the best view in Hania - of the Venetian harbor - from our own private balcony and large French doors, a very comfortable bed, and a welcome bottle of wine. The bathroom was nicely decorated and the shower worked very well. The restaurant downstairs (same owners) is where breakfast is served, which was so outstanding we also ate dinner there multiple times (something we have never done at a hotel before). We could not have been happier with our stay and regretted having to leave.

Wonderful staff who make you feel like family, excellent location, breakfast so delicious. We walked all around the port and everytime we came back to this location we were delighted this is where we were staying. John and his family and staff shared so many beautiful recommendations for us to sight see. The room is spacious, elegantly designed and super sound proof. We were not sure once we parked how to get to the hotel so we called and the owner met us at the parking area and helped us roll our suitcases to the hotel. We thought that was so thoughtful. Our overall experience here was wonderful.

The location was wonderful and the staff were very friendly and helpful particularly the ‘receptionist’. The breakfast is served outside on the harbour and is a delicious Cretan menu not a smorgasbord.

We loved everything about this hotel.

We loved this Boutique Hotel. The rooms were beautifully decorated with many personal touches that make you feel you are home. We had the opportunity to meet the owner and his mother and learn about the family history of this property. They were wonderful, gracious, and kind. Breakfast every morning in their restaurant (Arismari) was delicious, as well as the dinners. The staff were also welcoming and service was outstanding. The hotel is perfectly located on the Harbor with amazing views. My husband and I are thankful for having stayed here and will cherish the memories and friendships we made.

You wake up next to the port, having your breakfast with a view to the lighthouse across the water. Good breakfast, good coffee, helpfull staff. The bathtub is amazing, having ambient lighting and hydromassage. Each room has a different theme.
