The parking lot we were to park in was full and we had no place to park to unload baggage. We had to roll the bags some distance across traffic to the hotel.

Excellent location. Right next to the market center. The room was well-furnished and comfortable. The bed was excellent. The street noise through the balcony door was acceptable. The staff very friendly and spoke fluent English. The breakfast was amazing and filling. Highly recommend.

Legacy Gastro Suites is located within a short walking distance to the Archeological Museum of Iraklion and many restaurants. There is a walking street area with many shops right across the street. The bed was very comfortable. The room included a wine cooler where you could purchase a bottle or store one of your own, as well as other items you could purchase (herbs, olive oil, etc). The room also included a small table to eat at and large windows to look out over the square across the street. It had a balcony area, large enough for a table and chairs. The room was quiet, even though this was a busy part of town. There is on-street parking, if you could find a spot, or there is a pay lot right across from the hotel. (5-10 Euros) We had one of the best breakfasts of our trip here. They brought out a platter with small pancakes, spanakopita, croissants, sourdough rolls, lemon loaf cake, fruit, yogurt and eggs to order. The front desk staff were pleasant and offered places we should try and visit.

Position of the shower and water basin. There was no privacy because actually no bathroom, you will come after shower straight to the bedroom. For our culture it’s very strange to say at least. Breakfast is pretty poor. Lots of breads, but no cheese selection, no fruit selection, no sweet pastries.

Pillows were a little thick for us but the staff were happy to change. We stayed for a week so would have liked a bit more clothes storage but perfect for a short stay.

Lovely accommodation in the heart of the city. Depending on the suite the shower is part of the main bedroom but this wasn't an issue for us. Rooms are tastefully done and the staff couldn't enough to help. The top floor restaurant overlooking the city is exceptional.

Breakfast could have been enhanced by being able to have coffee on demand. One (delicious) cup was not enough, and I expected a continual supply. Also I was disappointed that the tea, which I prefer to drink at night, in the room was not complimentary.

Breakfast was delicious. Location was comfortable, and the waiters kindly closed the door near where we were sitting, so we weren't in a draught. They used the main door instead.

It was a birthday treat for my wife. Our room was wonderful with everything you could ask for. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had. We were only sorry that we couldn't eat it all! The location was ideal for exploring the Old Town.
