The property needs a bit of refinement and maintenance. For example the clogged wc sink was not so usable and the sound of the a/c machine(outdoor unit) was like a small earthquake.

Generally the room is comfy and quiet. Close to the city center. A nice and fair place to rent while your stay in Volos if "just a sleep" is what you want

Sloping roof in toilet, both banged our heads. The room was cold, however got the heating working after a phone call. 😊 Unfortunately didn't find blankets until the morning before we left (pity as don't like sleeping with heating on).

No separate shower, whole bathroom/toilet floods when showering. Toilet tucked under the staircase .

Great location, 20 min walk to center, 2 min from beach, bars and mini market. The appartment is a lesson in good design and how to make the most of limited space. Very clean with functional and tasteful furniture and decorations. Small kitchen perfect for breakfast. Very pleasant communication with the host.

It was smal. But that was what we expected. The bathroom was a disaster, with showering everything gets wet. The television did not work. After mentionning this to the host, it was fixed after 5 days! We could not open the windows because if you do so you'll get an infestation of mosquitos and flies. A screen against bugs would be a solution!

This kind of rooms should be illegal and the Greek government should do something about it. We got deceived by the pictures and when we got into the room we realised where were we. Two people barely fit inside the "room", the "bathroom" is very small and overall the room was quite dirty. It doesn't have a real shower, it has a hose hanging from one wall of the bathroom and a hole in the middle of it, so when you get a shower, you basically flood the bathroom, and of course, the room. After the shower, we saw water even below the bed. That was one of the nightmares. Moreover, it hasn't got a mosquito net in the only window of the place, so you can't open your window unless you want to have neighbours sleeping with you on your bed. Remember that it's in the ground floor, so any cockroach or bug could walk in pretty easily if you leave the window open. On another note, it has a very dirty chimney. Yes, a chimney, inside of a room that is barely 10sq meters (being optimistic). And yes, as dirty as a chimney that is used frequently. Last, but of course not least, the host: Apart from being quite rude during the whole process, she didn't tell us the numbers for the box, so we couldn't get in the apartment until we called her again, and with very bad manners she told us she had already told them to us. Thankfully she said them again. Moreover, as a tourist you are always looking for some recommendations, so we asked for some recommendations to visit Volos and eat there. My recommendation: don't do it or you'll die waiting. The best thing you can do is go to the tourist info office, they are very nice people and will give you the best advice.

Nothing. If it has anything good it's the location. It's close to the beach and other bars where you can escape from that rat trap. Well, at least the bed isn't uncomfortable, that's something.

The bathroom is a completely disaster, it’s impossible to have a proper shower. The bed was ok, although it had wood on the edges, which were uncomfortable when touched. In general, I didn’t like anything about the place. Was thinking of staying an extra night, but couldn’t bother.

First and foremost it was dirty. The wooden rim at the side of the bed headboard was not cleaned in weeks if not months. I have taken photos of the holders for toothpaste and toothbrush: DISGUSTING. Caked in dirt and hairs. The "bathroom" is a joke: the shower is a hand held affair, with a hole in the floor. The toilet seat is too small for the toilet and you have to hold the cover with your hand otherwise you cannot use it. The mugs in the kitchen cupboard were not properly clean. I had to wash them. I don't find the price justified by what is offered. Too small, but that would not have mattered much if the place was clean and if it had a proper shower and toilet facilities. Will definitely not be going back.
