Wonderful hotel! Walking distance to the Acropolis, Hadrian’s Arch, Olympic Stadium, restaurants and shopping. The gentleman at reception even had a packed lunch for us at our early check out.

The lifts are small. The room overlooked a busy road so couldn't leave balcony door open.

The location was great as it was just around the corner from the Plaka area with lots of shops and restaurants. The breakfast was good and the restaurant has a lovely view of the acropolis. It had a kettle and a fridge. The bathroom was a good size with a good shower. They sent us a link to book a taxi from airport to hotel which was very helpful. We used the same link the following day to book a taxi to the Port.

Not a thing. Everything was superb, especially the location. Within walking distance of all the major cultural attractions. We felt welcomed as soon as we walked in. The front desk staff is so friendly and helpful. And a special shout out to Christos, the restaurant manager and our server, Evita. They made our anniversary dinner on the rooftop extra special.

The location was perfect for walking to the majority of the main sites in Athens. Our view was of the Ancient Agora and our friends had the Agora and the Acropolis view. The room was spacious and the balcony was an added plus. The included breakfast had anything you would want and was fresh and delicious!

Hotel is centrally located to major attractions. We had a perfect view of the acropolis from our hotel room. Buffet breakfast was excellent with great service and food selection. Great restaurants all around the area. Hop on Hop off bus stop practically next door.

We booked this hotel for a couple of nights prior to our cruise. From the minute we entered the hotel, we were greeted by friendly hotel staff. Pleasantly, our room was ready upon arrival! We booked the suite which is very spacious, clean, and has a huge terrace that overlooks the Acropolis. The view is awesome! The location could not be better. It is close to so many of the sites….many within walking distance; it is also close to shopping. In addition, the hotel is about a block from a Hop on Hop Off bus stop. So, if one wants to tour the city that way, it is easy to do. The hotel has a wonderful restaurant on the 8th floor also with an Acropolis view. Breakfast was included with the room price and was excellent. Dinner is served in the restaurant as well (also excellent), but reservations are recommended. Overall, we loved our stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel. In fact, we will be staying there again just after our cruse!

Room was too hot and too noisy. The air conditioning was not functioning. Room size was small for two people. Prices are a little over the top.

Overlooking the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Athens Gate is located pleasantly just 10 mins walk away from the Acropolis. The highlight is the roof-top dining area with the an exquisite view of the monument, check pictures. Beautiful breakfast spread, nice mix of continental and Greek items, many vegetarian options. The grape leaf wraps were really good. Our room was nice but excessively hot and noisy and they didn't have the air conditioning running. Comparatively cozy, read small fot two but amenities were fine. Nice bathroom. We had a quiet and delicious lunch at the roof top restaurant. The staff is very polite. They even allowed a late check out. Wish we had a better room and longer stay!

Cannot think of anything that we did not like

The location is perfect as it is walking distance from most of the sightseeing places. The stop for the hop on hop off is right outside the hotel and that makes is very convenient for the tourists. The view from the rooftop restaurant is really mesmerising ….the parthenon looks totally mesmerising at night.
