The staff was great. Super helpful and polite. The location couldn't be better. So close to everything we wanted to see, every breakfast we had the best view of acropolis you can think of. Additionally we had a great view from our balcony onto the street where all the independence day parade machinery was going through.

Great location right in the centre of city with walking distance to all attractions, shops and restaurants. Views of Acropolis and Temple Zeus from the rooftop restaurant, The room was cleaned every day. The breakfast was standard with lots of choices. The staff are very friendly and courteous.

It was my first time staying at the Athens Gate and I was so impressed with the staff, the comfort of the hotel, the super breakfast and the incredible view from the breakfast area, that I reserved a room for the following week. I have to say I really enjoyed both stays but I was upgraded to a lovely bright, sunny room overlooking the archaeological site, which was really appreciated! Thank you. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel as it was better than I expected in every way. The staff at reception were outstanding - a credit to the hotel. And I really look forward to staying again. This is my new favourite hotel in Athens. Great location, great service and fabulous all round.

The location of the hotel is just perfect. Close to the entrance of the Acropolis and the entrance of the Plaka is around the corner. To go to the temple of Zeus is just crossing the road. We booked the suite on the floor under the upper floor where is the bar, the restaurant and the breakfastroom is located. That meaned: full view on the Parthenon and a huge terrace around the room on three sides The room is divided in two parts. The sitting area and the sleeping area. The sitting area could be furnished more cozily. Was not really inviting to be there. Bed is perfect and bathroom is ok. The breakfast is really good with lots of options and good coffee. The people that work there are pleasant. The first day we had dinner in the restaurant but we did not find the food very good. The people at the front desk are nice and helpful. But it is odd that they are behind a screen. Still dating from the covid period. Is a bit odd. And not very welcoming. We did not see it in other hotels

We had an amazing stay. Staff at this Hotel were super friendly. Particular the lady with red hair at the rooftop restaurant in the evening. Hotel overall was great, very good location - we walked everywhere, comfortable room, very clean, beautiful view from the rooftop, very friendly staff - Fab Stay, thank you.

Our room was facing Syngrou and it was exceptionally noisy when we opened the balcony door for some air when the room got very warm. Might have helped if the a/c was switched on but apparently not turned on throughout the hotel in the winter months. We asked to change rooms but it was very politely explained to us that the hotel was fully booked.

Clean attractive hotel, well appointed comfortable rooms, bar and restaurant has lovely views, very nice food. Breakfast was excellent. Was very well situated for the sights with a Metro stop close by. Staff throughout the hotel were exceptionally polite and helpful.

Amazing stay. We booked the suite, and it is probably the nicest hotel room we have stayed in - with panoramic views on our private terrace (wrapping around the building) over Athens all the way from the Temple of Zeus to the Acropolis. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff even brought us up an extra cot to sleep on. The staff also helped us park our car right in front of the hotel because ours was too big to fit in the garage. The breakfast was splendid as well as the room service dinner we ordered. All around fantastic stay!
