Everything the service the smiles the food, the fact it was not help yourself. Being served personally was a great idea. Everyone went out of way to make you happy. In our case with my wife hurting her knee in Dubrovnik, they helped as much as they could to make her stay a very happy one. The cleanness and efficiency was fantastic.

From the moment I arrived, weary from overseas travel, Maria and her team made me feel welcome and at home. Splendida Palace is so phenomenal that I adjusted my itinerary so I could stay there on my return to Split. The lobby, pool, lounge and breakfast area were perfectly appointed with Croatian comfort and style. The rooms provided Old World charm with the all the modern comforts for an experienced traveler. Highly recommended!

Everything! A place that leaves you speechless. Super clean hotel with lots of style. Although the hotel is located in the very center of the old town, right next to Diocletian's Palace, we were greeted by a parking space, which is almost impossible in this part of Split. As you go up to the room where the hotel staff has already brought your luggage, you can feel the wonderful smell that permeates the entire space. The check-in process went smoothly and quickly, with a glass of excellent cherry brandy, which the hotel staff treated us to. They know very well what you will like :). The room is very stylish and super clean with lots of great details. The beds are probably the most comfortable we have ever slept in. In the atrium of the hotel next to the stylish swimming pool, I was served an excellent espresso coffee with a bowl of delicious homemade biscuits. During the stay, each guest receives a mobile phone with a Croatian SIM card and the phone number of the hotel staff, who are at their disposal 24/7, in case of any emergency during their stay in Split. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel staff will pamper you to the extent that you will not be able to recognize yourself, and in a very professional manner that does not violate your space and your privacy. All in all, definitely the best experience ever.

We had a wonderful stay here. Marija went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. From the moment we arrived, ensuring we had a car park, then the best room and all the information we needed to thoroughly enjoy Split. The location is perfect for the old town. The breakfast is amazing too.

Everything Maria was fantastic. We had a short day so she coordinated getting a tour guide to meet us upon our arrival. She gave us a great suggestion for dinner and for gelato. They were the very best and the accommodations were fantastic. The Air Condition worked great and the facilities were amazing. Highly recommend staying here. The location is excellent right across the old town.

We should have stayed longer....

Marija greeted us like no other, she and her colleague helped us directed to our parking space. The room was excellent, big enough for my daughter and I. I like the size of the hotel, easy to get in and get out. Breakfast selections are wonderful too bad both of us not a big breakfast person. The location just short walking distance from the Diocletian Palace.

We really enjoyed our stay at the splendida Palace Maria and all the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Maria is a great host and it really shows the passion she has for her job and the country. She is a fantastic tour leader as well :) as the advices that she gives you are super helpful, especially if you want to go outside of Split. Don’t think twice book this hotel as it will be definitely be a fantastic experience.

Splendida Palace is a very well organised and managed family-run hotel and a lot of thought has been put into the decor. The staff are very friendly and energetic and the location is ideal - close to the city centre but quiet. The breakfast is excellent too.

My wife and I travel extensively and prefer to stay at boutique hotels when possible: Maria, who we primarily interacted with, is absolutely one of the finest hosts/concierges we’ve ever met. Excellent location within walking distance of all the sights. Beautiful, large and comfortable bedroom with spacious and well appointed en suite bathroom. Marija, Michaela and all the staff were cheerful, helpful and quick to respond to any request.

The service was exceptional. Everyone was really helpful. We were even given a cell phone to call the hotel in case of an emergency. One day, we needed an early start. The manager came in specially to serve us so that we didnt miss breakfast.

Can’t think of a single thing. In fact we cancel plans at another hotel so we could return at the end of our trip.

We couldn’t have been more impressed! We were greeted and not just provided the standard map of the city but a pre-programmed phone for our use during our stay. This phone had Maria’s number, a taxi service etc. in case we got lost or required any assistance while away from the property. Talk about going that step beyond for your customers! The room was beautiful, clean and beyond comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was spectacular! Can’t recommend enough!

Nothing I didn't like, but lots of food for breakfast!!

This is a fantastic place to stay in Split. It is close to the palace but far enough to have some quiet time in the evening. The breakfast is outstanding with an attentive staff and a wonderful owner. Maria welcomed us with a smile and a summary of the area. She also gave us a phone that we could use to contact her 24/7 if we had any problems or issues on our journey. The room was very large with modern amenities (including bar soap) - if you needed anything, you could just ask. On our last day, we had to catch an early ferry and she prepared our breakfast at 6:45, when breakfast typically begins at 7am. I can't say enough good things about Splendida Palace. You must see for yourself!
