The breakfast buffet was cold. The food was tasty but cold scrambled eggs and beans would be a lot nicer if hot!

Stunning hotel. Really comfy / big bed, lovely big bathroom and shower. View of the sea was stunning! I did love the omelettes at breakfast, which were made up fresh in front of you. Location was amazing - loved the walk along the promenade into Lapad. Really relaxing stay!

Very crowded at breakfast If you are non-smoker, and your neighbours enjoy smoking on their balcony, it is not the nicest experience. Hotel does not provide breakfast bag in case you have very early trips ( typically hotels of this level do).

The room had an electronic blind, unfortunately did not fit flush to the window so did not block out the light. It was also noisy as the patio door did not stop all of the breeze/wind & the blind kept hitting the sides.

Perfect location on Lapad, wonderful views. We had a sea view but this was a side room, would have loved front facing. A great base for walking & there is a regular bus service. The Royal resort has everything you need & is close to many bars/restaurants. The buffet breakfast offered lots of choice, you just need to relax & be patient as long queue for eggs/omelettes & also for hot drinks.

The way the hotel looks, as if it is a beach resort! No direct beach access. From the hotel you can only get to the cliffs of the beach. It’s full of rocks! Had to walk 25 min to get to a beach from the hotel

The hotel is part of a larger complex with interconnected buildings, which made it confusing to find the correct level for exiting, entering, or reaching the reception area. The day before we checked out, our key cards stopped working, and I had to ask reception to reboot them. I was disappointed that we did not receive an apology for their error.

The hotel was in an amazing location with an incredible view of the Adriatic Sea. I appreciated that we chose not to stay in the old city. Situated in Lapad, this hotel is peaceful, with a charming walkway along the beach. We had a superior sea view room that was worth the money. It was modern and spacious, with a large balcony facing the sea and we could watch the lovely sunsets. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool area, which was very private. Additionally, there were several pools on the hotel premises. Breakfast was served in the Royal Terrace restaurant located on the exterior of the hotel. There were numerous options, and seating was available indoors and outdoors on the veranda.

Great location close to old town, but in its own peace with raw and beautiful nature. Clean rooms, exceptional view from balcony. Breakfast had multiple options.

It was very quiet as it's off season but this suited us, however a few of the bars were closed.

The service here was fantastic. We were upgraded to a 5 star suite because the resort was quiet and the room was incredible. Staff were lovely, had one issue that was rectified immediately. They even gave me complimentary birthday prosecco a very nice touch!

Just the number of people in such a big restaurant.

Location was lovely. Had a fabulous room overlooking the sea. Breakfast was amazing, even queuing for the coffee machines was ok because of the view.

The only criticism… After checking out of room Needed use of spa shower area… Very small with literally nowhere to hang clothes or sit! For a hotel of this size and calibre: very disappointing

Fabulous hotel part of Royal Hotels Group. Located on brilliant pedestrian walkway… Perfect for a stroll into Lapad… Lovely staff: great room: perfect breakfast: good location ( away from hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik) But just a 30 mins ride on no 6 bus to Old Town. Views out to sea: amazing! Can’t wait to return!

We had two days without adequate hot water for showers. Staff made every effort to fix it. Hot showers were available next to indoor pool. We were given drink vouchers as an apology.
