Although the whole property felt really clean and tidy, I would recommend to clean the shower head from the hard water stains.

The location was great. The place has wonderful country side/ medieval castle vibe. We had a spacious room with a balcony which we enjoyed a lot.

Opening the windows meant getting all the noise from the traffic outside (the building is located on the main road so you could hear the cars passing by even if you opened the windows on the opposite side). Despite this, the air coming in was clean and refreshing!

We liked the style of the room (it looked like an room in an old castle). The location is in the centre of Villány, which made the commute to the different wine cellars very easy (everything is walking distance).

This is a very nice small hotel with excellent kitchen. You can have a dinner sitting outside and enjoying the nice view. Villany village is known for good quality red wines and you can enjoy them sitting at the terace.

Because of the off season, the reception closed around 6. We could not open our own wine, because the rooms do not have a wine opener.

Great location, very well designed inside and outside as well. They have a rooftop terrace, which we enjoyed a lot. Breakfast was great and filling.

A couple of minor repairs could have been carried out in the room prior to the stay. Shower door fell off the runner and light switches broken. This was mentioned to the reception staff in the morning so hopefully the issues would have been addressed.

Nicely furnished rooms. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Right on the main street in Villany amongst the wine cellers. Ample parking at the rear of the hotel and a large terrace which in the spring and summer is open for guests for all meals taken at the hotel. Lovely view of the vineyard from the terrace.

right on the street where most of the wineries have tasting rooms. Free parking on the street. On site restaurant. Friendly staff, very affordable price. Note, no elevator, make sure you get instructions on leaving and reentering at night time as the building is locked.

Wooden window frames - as is often the case with them - react to moisture in the air. In our room, with the window facing the main street, a little warped (due to dampness?) frames prevented the window from closing completely. For this reason, especially in the early morning, there was quite a street noise coming to the room. The use of insect nets in the window would be a sensible improvement to the room standard.

Stylish, carefully and tastefully restored facility located in the central part of the village. Helpful, nice staff.

The shower door in our room was off the hinge, towels were damp when we arrived (not dirty, just hadn't quite finished drying yet I think). The air conditioner didn't really work, which would normally not be a problem but with the heat this summer it was pretty hot in the room.

Lovely little hotel with an amazing Hungarian style. We loved how unique and incredible the wooden furniture was. The breakfast options were huge and made to order - the meat plate was amazing. Great wine terrace in the back, so beautiful that we decided to have dinner there one night which was delicious.

Excellent location close to all the wine cellars and restaurants. The room was extremely large with excellent air conditioning and a big bathroom. A good breakfast was served on the terrace outside with an excellent view. As well choices of cold breakfast there is an extensive menu with hot food on offer. The omelettes are huge. Nice coffee and a lovely touch made by the young girl serving in that she remembered how we liked our coffee on the second day. Did not eat dinner in the restaurant but what I saw looked very good with a very good waiter service. Although in the middle of the town the exterior terrace gives you peace and quiet and privacy.
