Relatively close to the main road. The breakfast selection was not very wide. No elevator, headroom is decreased by the slanted roof.

Good base to explore Lillafüred and the Bükk hills. Beautiful scenery, located in a valley by a creek. Very clean and tidy place. The staff is kind and helpful. The room is relatively spacious, the bed was are comfortable.

The location is excellent, amazing for hiking and exploring the surroundings. There is a restaurant next to the hotel but it closes at 7 The centre wasn't far away( we had a car) ..The price was very good ,the hotel was clean yet very very old

The beds were not very confortable.

The Hotel is 20min walking from Lillafured and it is located in a very quiet zone. There is restaurant next to the hotel. The facilities were quite nice, room was a bit small and bed a bit hard but overall it was OK for a couple of nights, and sauna is great! Breakfast was quite decent with a bit of everything. And the best of all, the staff was extremelly helpfull and kind!

Breakfast could be more varied.

Nice hotel, but in need of renovation. It was comfortable, the staff was great, the breakfast was satisfying. Parking is spacious, the nature around the building is beautiful. Recommendations!

The edge of the shower tray wasn't clean enough, not saying it was moldy, but it wasn't clean either. And please for the love of god, turn down the floor heating in the bathroom, it was like hell in there. If you want to see more of Lillafüred, you have to pretty much hop in a car or bus to get to lake Hámori, otherwise you are stuck walking at the side of the road as there is no proper direct walking route to Lillafüred from this hotel (except through hiking of course).

Excellent location if you want to go for a hike in the mountains, there is a restaurant in the doorstep of the hotel with not much traffic and with excellent food and staff. The traffic is very low in December, so if you love hiking, wait for the snow, book a room in december and let's go!

It was cold in the apartment. There was no drinking water and no kettle. There were no slippers. The room was clean, but the mattress on the bed is not very good

Stuff was very friendly, spa and ping-pong for free. For us only 2 nights of staying, but we were very satisfited.

They didn't change our towels even if we have stayed there for 5 days, even if we have dropped them down in front of the shower thinking that they will change them then. The room apparently was clean, but when our kid dropped something under the sofa , we discovered many shards of glass. The breakfast could be better with more food options, or with variations ( each day have been the exactly same foods), but for the value let's say was ok.

The staff is ok. The location is perfect, not far from the main attractions of Lillafured. In front of the hotel there is nice park, for kids and pets too.

I visited in April. In the summer, there is a swimming pool as well as a sauna and a salt room at Hotel Szeleta. Maybe I can come back in the summer some time to enjoy all of those perks!

I knew that I wanted to visit Lillafured but, beyond that, I didn't know much. Hotel Szeleta turned out to be an excellent find. For me, the Palota Lillafured was completely out of my budget-range... but Hotel Szeleta was not :) . Hotel Szeleta and Lillafured are easily reached from Miskolc... I took the tramway from the train station all of the way to the end, and then transferred to Bus 5 or Bus 15, both of which head up to Lillafured. Hotel Szeleta is in a pretty town in the valley called Also-Hamor, so downstream from Lillafured. I think it was about 1- 1.5 km to walk to Lillafured by way of Felso-Hamor, another pretty town with the stream running through it. I was able to have a reasonable lunch at the restaurant in Palota and could walk their beautiful grounds... so it all worked out. In Also Hamor, there appeared to be some restaurants geared toward tourists... but as it was off-season they were not open yet.

As it was mentioned before they have room for improvment on the cleanliness. The fact the room smelled of bleach does not compansate the fluffs and hair in the bedlinen, the black dust on the towel-drier/rack, the same behind the telly (when I turned then I noticed). Mildew around the windows, in the bathroom and on the tiles.

the receptionists were helpful and polite. The room was warm, the bed was warm. There is a restaurant right next to the buildings. Handy for suppers. The brook is right next to the hotel garden, with a small waterfall. Bus stop is 2 min walk. The main road is right next to the hotel.

The facilities are really worn down and breakfast was below average. One particularly bad aspect was that the lights in the courtyard were shining the whole night, directly into our room, and the curtains were by far not dark enough, we could barely sleep. Even though we asked for them to be switched off after the first night, the situation didn't change for the second night.

The location is really nice if you are looking for something close to nature. Good starting point to explore the surrounding famous sights.
