Our room was lovely. The view and sound of the see was spectacular!! The pool was great. The spa is a must, super value. As was the food, yummy and reasonably priced.

The price/quality rate could be better for that price. There was a lot of long hair in the room from the previous guest. Long black hair was visible even under the bed sheet. The towels were completely yellow.

Quiet place with beautiful gardens, pools and ocean views. Ideal to relax when you want to stay only in the hotel. The staff arranged a motorbike for us.

I had a wonderful time at Amarta for 9 days, it was an amazing place to relax, enjoy the nature away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The food was great and the all staff were incredibly kind and friendly. The sound of the ocean can be heard loudly at night and was the best sound to fall asleep to (as well as the sound of geckos). Overall, the most relaxing holiday I have had in a long time and when I come back to bali I will be staying here again. Thankyou Amarta team for an amazing holiday.

This peaceful place is a long way from the airport and there are no local facilities. A car/taxi is essential.

Needs a gym! Eight of us booked the bbq meal, but there certainly wasn't enough food and it wasn't cheap. We barely got a small plate of food each. No restaurants nearby so you have to eat on site. Choices were ok but seed to run out of dishes and wines most evenings.

This is an amazing place to stay if you want to get away from it all. Beautiful grounds and villas. Stunning views. Got a really good massage too.

Really lovely staff, and the private Villa was beautiful. The spa was really great and the food and drinks were amazing. We had many fantastic staff help us during our stay, in particular Julie was amazing. The pools were great as well especially in the heat.

We loved every part of this stay. Some ideas (not at all taking anything away from this gorgeous retreat)... the spa would definitely benefit from offering shoulder-only or back-only massages, as only full body massages are offered, which (while amazing!) may not suit everyone - and men in particular may only be used to back only or shoulder only massages. This may boost bookings! Also, the restaurant would benefit from offering almond milk (or a milk alternative) and would definitely benefit from offering gluten-free breads, pasta and pizza - as this is now such a hugely popular diet, especially with the myriad of auto-immune issues caused by the heavy-gluten diet. We were fine, as we stuck to rice and potato and replaced bread with hash browns at breakfast. Delicious food though!

The staff are extraordinarily professional, friendly, and attentive - it is clear they have received training to the highest possible standard. This added to the peaceful nature of this beautiful retreat. The food was magnificent, the flowers and surroundings, pools and chalets were exquisite.

A perfect place to get away from everything. The location made it incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The room was huge, and so was the bed. Two pools were great as it meant neither was overly busy. On all occasions the pool nearer to us was empty, great for a morning swim. The proximity of the beach is also nice for a walk, and the sound of the waves are a perfect backdrop to everything you do. The staff were great. I'd especially like to call out the staff at the restaurant, they were friendly without fail. I'd suggest adjusting your mindset to work on Bali time, you'll enjoy it even more.

I was in the bugalow with oceanview. the closest to the sea. It was very loud due to the sound of the waves during the night. Several times I woke up during the night, startled. It sounded like thunders or an earthquake at first. So it was not a good base for a deep sleep. It is expensive to wash your clothes at the hotel laundry service.

The dinner we ordered was not very good but we weren't charged for it. The view from our villa was not good and just of the back of the large building in front. This was disappointing given how beautiful the rest of the resort is.

The room was an excellent size with good facilities. Breakfast was very good. The resort is very beautiful. Staff were very helpful.

We needed a private car to get there and back (could not find a grab, gojek ride), which is also an advantage as the location is really tranquil and not crowded.

Loved the place, the rooms were private and secluded, almost like having your own cabana with a flowers garden. There were 2 infinity pools, one great for families with kids, another one for adults (although not specifically labeled as such, that is how people were using them while we were there). Food at the restaurant was good, loved the bubur.

The facility needs to be more handicapped friendly.. There is no sufficient railing on the steps into the unit the bathroom and the swimming pool.

Two nice swimming pool overlooking a quiet black sand beach. The staffs has been consistently friendly and caring. Excellent breakfast is included. Try the American breakfast.
