There was no hand shower or a tap outlet on the bathroom, it was a bit difficult for wudhu.

no standard 2 glasses in the room. No yoghurt at breakfast. Swimming pool closes to early in the evening. At arrival at 11.00 we could not enter our room, why, Bumi hotel will have clean rooms available that moment.

Brown bread at breakfast was very good. Rooms are comfortable. Real indonesian style hotel.

The room seems like a bit old but is confortable enough. Our bath didn’t look very clean to make us want to use it.

The swimming pool area is a bit outdated.

The lobby and staff are friendly, helpful and great. Breakfast was amazing, full of different and tasty choices. Room was very spacious, comfortable and beds amazing. It also had a great view over the city. Everything was very clean. We also did a massage with a scrub. Possibly more expensive than on the streets but really good masseuses.

However some properties were old and need to be rejuvenated. The bath tub, bed, etc need to be refined. The lamp in the room is not that bright. Some bed clothes are with holes. The tissue paper in the bedroom is lacking.

This hotel was in the past a luxurious one, and the image stays till now. The breakfast was varied and decent. The staff is polite and helpful.

It did have a grand look befitting a 5 star, though somewhat run down in a few areas. The staff, particularly the ones in the restaurant were great!

My expectations were actually exceeded.

I booked the hotel just for one night, as I had to take the flight early in the morning and was surprised to see that the hotel was so much bigger and had so much more to offer than it had actually showed online. It had big rooms, large swimming pool and a wide choice of food options. What surprised me the most was that they were serving breakfast as from 2 AM during the Ramadan. Very helpful and professional staff.

they are wasting so much money on staff that are not working, too many of them doing nothing at the lobby area especially situated on the front door. money can better be spent on maintaining the hotel and on cleaning staff. the pillow cases are dirty have to ask for change, the phone in the room is not working.

The design of the hotel is nice have a traditionla rich old money feeling to it, the room is spacious.

Spacious rooms. Green area surrounding the hotel. Nice area with restaurants and shops inside the hotel. Nice and helpful staff members. Good WiFi speed. Great shower!

Maybe they could add some light in the room, because if you need to work by night, the light is not enough.

I loved everything, the people working there (they're so helpful, friendly and kind!), the wonderful garden where you take the breakfast, the quality, quantity and variety of food served at breakfast and dinner, the swimming pool, the view from room's wide window, the space in the room. Thank you so much for everything! It was perfect!

The selection bread and jam were limited. No croissants and the jam could be further improved, and butter too. The rest is perfect! Charging system recommended to be upgraded via usb port rather than an extension cable.

Breakfast was good and featuring plentiful of local dishes. The restaurants are exceptionally good, both staff and food.

The hotel is older, which you can tell. Bathroom felt a bit dirty because of this because of stains. It might have been perfectly clean, but replacing older toilets for example could make a huge difference. Dinner is quite alright, but overpriced.

Friendly staff, specially pak Nyoman. Comfortable bed, nice view and good location. Breakfast is good.

It would be really good to have a small fridge in the room, and the area is quite empty, you need to take a grab to go around.

The hotel is almost perfect. The decoration, the facilities, the restaurant, and the location to visit the Ijen.

Only thing that detracted from the otherwise excellent hotel, staff and facilities was the condition of the carpet in the room and near the lifts. That is, fairly substantial stains on several areas of the carpet which had obviously been there for some time.

There was no bar that serves alcoholic drinks

The staffs were very friendly. Not too far from Tunjungan area. Comfy bed. Separate shower and bath tub. It has a nice big pool. Breakfast had many varieties and the outdoor seating was cool.
