Very great deal for stay one or two nights in Labuan Bajo!

We were told there would be food service available and it was not really the case but the hosts were nice and offered us to cook some noodles, it was a bit expensive though. But all in all really okay. We also had breakfast:)

It was great because good value for money. The host were very welcoming and they had very cute puppies. They offered us a drink on arrival and were attentive to our needs. The room and bathroom were clean! We had to take a 15min taxi from the center to reach the property but it was okay!

I stayed for just one night but was immediately greeted with warmth and kindness and made the best ginger tea I’ve ever had! I enjoyed talking to the family and getting my sticker tattoo from one of the kids there, they even fed me breakfast helped arrange my transportation and gave me water when I asked. Lovely family that makes you feel like you’re home and being cared for. Very grateful. 🙏🏽

A delightful, authentic homestay with a beautiful, helpful and warm family. Re and her family are very hospitable and we enjoyed a lovely and delicious meal prepared by Re on the night of our arrival. The home roasted coffee is awesome. There is a tiny local bakery 5 minutes walk away. The setting and facilities are basic but comfortable.

Unbelievable for the price you pay, can have no complaints . Staff are very helpful and friendly, Justin was very attentive. We just stayed for one night before a boat tour but enjoyed our breakfast in the morning and were glad we chose here to stay.

Very small points to note, overall lovely place to stay: Please be aware cold shower, Noise as there was a party going on next door, host very apologetic and it did not stop us from having a good night sleep as it stoped around 10pm, Not many charging points in room but many outside the room/around the place and no side lamp light.

Super friendly hosts very welcoming and made us part of the family, many puppy cuddles (when requested), very tasty dinner available at the place too ( if not in a rush) Room was very spacious and clean, comfortable bed. Nice surrounding with nature in quiet road. We were sad to go after only one night, nice spot for a few days.

Absolutely nothing.

The home has a lot of space, little balcony and dining areas for socialising with other guests. All the other guests I met were lovely. The family are welcoming and very hospitable. Really amazing place. Amazing food breakfast/lunch/dinner. Cute dogs

The place is super nice! The family that runs the Homestay are amazing people! Super friendly and helpful. Great breakfast served at normal times, the banana pancake is awesome. The family even invited us to go to their family party over the next 5 days, it was something else! Good wifi!

It was so nice to stay at G-Rima that we stayed here twice! The family was so helpful and kind. The homestay is a bit further from the centre so it’s easy if you have a scooter (you can also rent it at their place). Special thanks to Justin who made delicious banana pancakes.

We had a wonderful time at G-Rima! We only stayed two days, but wished for more. We felt truly welcomed and had the pleasure of eating with the family at night: it was a beautiful time of talking and sharing our experiences, learning about Labuan Bajo and Indonesian history. About the food, it was just incredible. The best meals we had in Indonesia!!! Hope to come back one day!

G-Rima is a couple of kilometres from the centre of Labuan Bajo - too far to walk but an easy motorbike ride.

Hosts De-Li and Raylin were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable - nothing was too much trouble. We have already booked to stay at G-Rima on our return to Labuan Bajo.

I try not to focus or nitpick too much when traveling especially at a homestay. A few things with water pressure, distance from the ocean, lack of kettle and coffee packets etc. but really all of that is not important when it's about the people you are spending time with and enriching life.

G-Rima Homestay was exactly what I had hoped for. I was looking to have a family experience and meet locals in Labuan Bajo who could guide me in the right direction and that would give me honest and fair treatment. The homestay is a little bit out of the downtown harbor area and is nestled in the mountains with great scenery but no ocean view. It is fairly quiet and the garden and common areas are lovely to relax in. The rooms were spartan and clean, bug-free and WIFI, electricity and hot water were working the whole time. Breakfast was humble but Relen would oblige if I asked for hard-boiled eggs, toast, or anything special. My advice would be to go to Alpha Mart down the street and stock up on water, snacks, and some staples if you plan on staying for longer than a couple of days. There were no hot water kettles in the room, nor coffee or tea packets so make sure to bring some with you and ask for hot water. Jastin, Relen or one of the kids will happily bring you water and whatever you need just text Relen through Whatsapp. The family was wonderful. We shared a couple of delicious dinners together family style and told stories and laughed. Telte grilled up his famous chicken and I tried the soya sambal chili sauce mixed with it and it was so delicious. What a treat! The family helped arranged a three-day road from Labuan Bajo to Maumere. It was unbelievable. They called on their great friend Hery and we met and made an agreement for the tour. The price was very fair and Hery went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. His knowledge of the island was incredible. He never took a wrong turn, knew every road like the back of his hand, kept us safe on really curvy potholed roads, took me to all of the sights along the way, and arranged hotels and dining options. It was truly extraordinary. I am very grateful to the G-Rima family and Hery for a wonderful time in Flores. Thank you Telde, Relen, Jastin, Kids and Hery!!! See you again one day soon. Miss you guys

Relyn and Telldy are the best hosts you can imagine. You are welcomed into their family, treated like a member and they are so nice and fun. You can talk with them all evening and exchange cultural differences, it was amazing. They cook a very delicious dinner if you want to and are so genuine and happy people. they help wherever they can and try to organize the best experience for you The homestay is a bit outside of the center, but its nice and quiet and if you are lucky you will see some monkeys in the morning coming from the forest. You can rent a bike from them so its close to the center then The room was very clean, and the bed was so comfortable. I will dearly miss them and will come back for sure.
