Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

BrazilWe were woken up at 7am with a lunch box of breakfast food that we had not requested and this was very unpleasant, we attacked that it was a miscommunication because the day before we asked about the time and place for breakfast. They should have a menu in English with breakfast options and opening hours made clear to guests.
The hotel is new and the facilities are in excellent condition. The staff doesn't speak English well which made communication a little difficult. The mosque is really very close. For one night it was satisfactory.

GermanyI booked one night here before I went to Bromo. The room is very comfy. The AC works very well, WIFI as well. The bathroom is clean. The staff was very friendly to me. Everything was very nice. When I came back from Bromo I booked another night here :-)

GermanyIt is a bit loud. You hear the mosque (which still was ok for me). The problem was a very loud noise (I think it was a door that was not closed and it was hitting something very loudly) that I started to hear as of 06:00 or 07:00.
I had a nice and comfortable stay. The bed is very comfortable and the room and bathroom are clean. It is maybe not a place to socialize and since I was backpacking it would have been nice.
