Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We wanted to massage somewhere near the hotel but fully booked, hence we got no choice and book from the hotel but the massagists arrived quite late and the way they massage was like "touch and go". We paid for 2hours but ended up they only "massage" for 1hour and 15mins...
I love the concept of kontena (the rooms are made by contena), it's very tidy and clean. They have mountain view near the restaurant and there are few places that allowed you to take nice photos.

AustraliaFood is poor, the breakfast had great options, but there was a lot of flies and bees, which they did not bother to remove. Our dinner was the worse, we waited 2 hours for our food, and the food was mediocre. The bathroom had a lot of moulds, and the taps are broken.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was great. The concept of the hotel was great, we enjoyed the aesthetic and facilities. Especially the Children's playground.

Indonesiano soundproof.. can still hear kids screaming from another rooms and from the hallway.. carpark is not sheltered which can be troublesome since it’s raining most of the time when i was there, and the car parking spaces are also very limited.

IndonesiaThe toilet is a bit damp, the cleanliness needs to be improved a bit.
We love the pool, distinguished design with 3 terraced pool and safe for children. We love the Japanese garden and its beautiful design lobby. I often feel chilly everytime I step in the lobby, really like this kind of feeling. This is our second long stay in Kontena Hotel (8 nights). We're sure to come back for another long stay.
