Very clean and nice room in a beautiful building. The owner André was very keen to help us for everything, even setting up a last minute private boat tour for 2 days 1 night. The position is a bit far from the harbour and the main street, where all restaurants and activities are, so you need a moped or a taxi to move every time. One can see great sunsets from the beach nearby.

wifi speed in the room, but truly it's a minor detail.

The staff is absolutely amazing, simply wonderful. The hotel is located out of town which I preferred and it makes it very quiet at night which of course is great. Scooter rental is cheap so you can go anywhere anyway. Wifi is not my most important concern but in the room it wasn't too fast whereas in the breakfast area it was fantastic. I would book this place again. Breakfast by the way is also lovely, finished with a candle on the table. What else do you need ;).

Air conditioning, clean room, very nice bathroom, tasty breakfast, lovely place with very kind and helpful staff. To get to the centre you need scooter or a driver but this is not a problem:)

For me no problem at all, but it would be nice to install a boiler big enough, so all guests can enjoy a warm shower.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I missed breakfast (try the banana pancakes!) because I went diving, but when I returned in the afternoon, one of the staff members brought me a delicious banana pancake.

The hotel has confirmed they would pick us up from the airport free of charge. we waited at the airport for an hour on arrival and no one showed, we also couldn’t get through to the hotel to speak to someone. when we wanted to return to the airport they said the shuttle service wasn’t available and that we had to get a taxi. if the boss rectified it and paid for a taxi for us which was kind and we appreciated it however if you don’t offer that free airport shuttle service anymore you should remove it from your add and let your staff know as I was told differently when I booked the accommodation. there was a funny drain smell in the shower room. we were told a breakfast box would be provided for us at 05:15 before we went on our day trip. there was no breakfast box provided for u. it would have been nice to know it was not possible the day before our trip so we could have got something else.

The hotel was super clean, spacious rooms, loved that the toilet was seperate to the sink and shower, the gardens were beautiful, the breakfast banana pancakes were delicious and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Lovely hotel. Nice, quiet, clean and comfortable. It's near most places we wanted to go to via motorcycle. the workers were very friendly and assisted in all matters. The Hotel owner took us to the airport at the end of our stay. I highly recommend!

Nothing. Why are "facilities" rated low? Because there are none. No pool, no gym, no spa, no resto although you do get a very nice basic breakfast. I don't need them; if you do go to one of the resort hotels and pay their prices.

I demand 6 minimum features in a hotel. Clean spacious room, comfortable bed, functioning bathroom, good WiFi, good AC, friendly competent staff. You can pay $500 a night and get all this or, as in this case $40. The only difference is how fancy it all is. La Belle Etoile deserves 5 stars for what it provides for the money. It is 4km from town but a Grab costs less than $1 and takes 10 minutes.

The property is beautiful and clean. The bed is comfortable. Excellent air conditioning. Henri kindly drove me to and from the airport. Do yourself a favor and have the banana pancakes for breakfast. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and comfortable at all times.
