Poolside/ Beachfront lunch menu could be improved to include more Indonesian favourites. They are no longer serving Bintang, but rather non-local beers such as Heineken and Asahi, and some local craft beers. In my humble view, Bintang is part of the quintessential Bali experience. The bed was comfortable, but quite slouched in the middle. But honestly, there’s not a lot that’s not to like about this property.

Exceptional, personal and attentive service from staff at all venues. The view from our Studio Ocean Front Room, breakfast each day, cocktails on the balcony from the complementary in-room bar, spa treatment, dinner at Kaum, beachfront pool experience: all outstanding. The cookies that are provided in the room each day are incredibly delicious too (except they couldn’t provide me the recipe, despite my insistence 🤣). This property has mastered the art of overdelivering on the things that matter. This was our second time at the Desa, and we’d stay again for sure!

A terrific stay at Potato Head Suites and Studios - which lives up to its billing as a "Top 50 global hotel" thanks to its warm and friendly service, beautiful and interesting architecture, a wide range of dining options, and sustainable practices. Our suite was beautifully designed, blending modern elegance with traditional Balinese elements to create a cozy and stylish ambiance. Shout out to the in-suite cocktail bar, which was the perfect place to mix our own signature drinks.  There are plenty of places to eat, we loved the breakfast by the beach, and had a delicious dinner at Indonesian restaurant Kaum. There is also easy access to plenty of bars and restaurants in Seminyak - many within walking distance. Loved the guest-only pool on the beach front, which offers a slightly more chill atmosphere compared to the beach club next door, which has more of a party vibe. Overall, our stay at Potato Head was exceptional. What truly sets them apart is the outstanding service. From the friendly security guards who welcomed us "home" to the attentive front office and F&B teams, every interaction was filled with warmth and hospitality. Combining luxury, sustainability, art and architecture, and genuine care for guests, Desa Potato Head exceeded all of our expectations.

The flooring in their toilets is rather slippery, so parents with little ones should take extra care. Have a jolly good trip!

I wouldn't just call Potato Head Suites & Studios a hotel; it's more like an eco-conscious art gallery, if you ask me. It's a gathering spot for folks who care about the environment, love beach vibes, enjoy meditation, art workshops, music, ceramics, mixology, and club culture. It's a place that's diverse and rich in experiences, making it utterly irresistible. The comfort here is top-notch, keeping you happily occupied all day with its facilities and planned activities, meaning you don't even need to step outside. You've got a range of restaurants, bars, and entertainment options, plus a library for those who need to catch up on work. Not only did the adults enjoy it, but my 2 year old baby also loved it. Every morning, he would eagerly head to the swimming pool, and what stood out the most was his success in walking barefoot on the beach by the sea. We'd tried in so many places before without luck, but he nailed it here. On the first day, I had the cocktails and tried the local-style steamed fish here, which unfortunately upset my stomach for 2 days. However, I must express my gratitude to the staff for their attentive care during this time. Despite this hiccup, for our family, this place holds many cherished memories, and we will definitely recommend others to book here for their Bali trip.

The Breakfast variety could be better and have more options especially for kids. We didn't try the other restaurants. but for the main breakfast we felt it didn't quiet meet our expectation.

The whole experience was amazing from the moment you step in. The check in process was very smooth. everyone is welcoming and they call you by your name which makes you feel at home and you belong. The place had a beautiful vibe and energy.

Excellent sustainable hotel with superb customer experience. The team couldn't be more helpful or generous. The breakfast is fantastic and the choices of the different pools and prioritisation to book a daybed was excellent. I will be back!
