I shared a room with my niece and had the sofa bed which was rock hard. The buffet breakfast was confusing and staff were wandering about but not attentive to guests. Food was not great quality.

Mosquitos at night were overwhelming. Had to move on from the pool at 5pm due to too many bugs.

The food and margaritas were amazing! Really enjoyed sitting by the pool. Close to restaurants near by.

The Wifi was terrible and frustrating. Dropping in and out constantly.

Pool side was lovely, staff very helpful. Location was great just outside busy parts but an easy walk if you want shopping or restaurants. Beautiful gardens.

The spa was quite pricy - you get same or even better massage at other places :) the nearest beach is quite dirty.

The staff is really nice! The food at breakfast is fresh and good- a lot of Indian food. It’s a nice hotel and convenient if you arrive late from the airport (we arrived around 23:00 or 24:00). Pool and rooms are clean :)

There were on two occasions cocaroaches in my bedroom. Almost daily, there would be lizards. There was an unidentified noise coming from the ceiling requiring me to relocate my room while animal control investigated. On the bright side, management was very understanding and accommodating for the inconvenience

Spa was expensive. We would have liked to have the ability to refill water bottles instead of going out to buy water at the convenience mart.

Different cultures are great to experience while travelling but it also brings with it different approaches to respecting other guests right to a positive experience too. Food handling by some guests who want to try a particular item and then put it back is not good hygiene practice. And speaking loudly/ shouting across rooms and public spaces is intrusive, so maybe a few 'think about others' reminders would help everyone to have a good holiday. Perhaps tour guides could also be engaged to pass on this important protocol to their patrons.

The staff, without exception were great, from front of house to gardening and housekeeping teams were always helpful and greeted you each time with a smile. I appreciated that the pool staff removed towels from lounges and tables as soon as someone left which discourages guests from 'reserving' lounges all day eventhough they may only use the spot for a short time. This is a big bugbear for lots of travellers... so well done Risata.

As above in regards to the room smell on the balcony, which was a bit of a put off.

Everything was great apart from our room view and balcony. We were placed with an outlook to the processing plant for toilets, which was extremely smelly, and was not able to sit on the balcony for long. The bathroom was relatively clean, but the shower was not so great, and was not cleaned. The pool and breakfast were also to standard.
