Booking.com, did not clearly indicate the amount to be paid,should have clearly indicated GST additional, though it was mentioned in the fine print.

The hospitality of the staff. Sainath chef..at the restaurant Raihaan.at the reception Datta.at the pool Kajal.at the reception Kishore...at the reception And everybody else. The whole team also made my birthday special. 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Small room. Bathroom needed renovation. Disappointing barbecue meal. Limited cars to arrange airport transfers.

Very large and clean pool. Outdoor games and activities. Very helpful personnel. Cultural shows (flute in the morning, dance in the evening).

Being able to drink a coffee on the serene lawn, away from the honking traffic, made us feel well balanced. There are two or three high class hotels in Aurangabad, but none have the authentic character of Vivanta. You feel like a Maharaja! The rooms are spacious and they all look out on the enclosed garden and pool. There’s a ground level where the rooms have a porch and an upper level where the rooms have a balcony. We recommend the upper level rooms. They have more light and a better view. The rooms are cleaned at least twice a day. When you pass a member of housekeeping in the corridor they always wish you a pleasant day and ask if they can do something for you. We especially remember the broad smile of Mr. Shivaji. He made us feel right at home. Having breakfast is very enjoyable! As early as 7 am you can comfortably sit outside on the lawn, listening to unobtrusive music being played live by a musician while waiters bring you freshly made dosa. The staff is fast and caring. They give you a variety of suggestions. They remember your room number and how you like your coffee. The food is very tasty. We felt pampered every single day. A special recommendation to Mr. Shyamal, Mr. Dhiraj, Mr.Suresh, Mr. Amol and Mr Santosh! Lastly, we’d like to express our great gratitude to Ms. Shital! She enriched our stay with interesting sightseeing tips and when she overheard at breakfast that my wife had bought a sari she offered to come to the room and help her put it on. She took such care in dressing my wife. The cherry on the cake was when she showed up with fresh flowers and wove them through my wife’s hair. Absolutely beautiful! We took stunning pictures in the garden and went to dinner in transitional clothing. That evening the chef Sainath Rathod gaves us an exceptional dining experience. We highly recommend his cuisine. Be sure to try out both restaurants. Explore his take on Asian fusion at Tea House and ask for the chef’s special at Latitude.

Nice and calm place in a big city, perfect to relax from Ellora or Mini Taj etc. Pool large with great service, but less and old sunbeds. Beautiful huge garden but outside dining is extra 1000 RS per P, which was a bit annoying. Breakfast and diner buffet were great.

Excellent staff with personal touch! Variety of breakfast - excellent Nice view from balcony (includes a swing) Evening music and local folk dance was very nice! We liked everything and enjoyed our stay.

Needs refurbishment. Saw some people just jump into the pool with their shirt and trousers.. Most unhygienic. Hope the hotel had people to stop this.

Staff at the Latitude restaurant was superb, Shital, Shyamal, the guy with glasses and moustache! And the restaurant manager Vikram and Sous Chef Subhadeep. And the others as well, the person that did the pizza. The buffet food was excellent, good attention to detail. The grounds around the hotel provided a good walk after dinner.

The property was good. The staff be it front office or others were extremely hospitable. They have taken hospitality to the next level. Special mention must be made of Upasana and Arundhati for their excellent massage.

Very comfortable room with shaded balcony overlooking attractive gardens. The hotel is a good base for visiting Ellora and Ajanta temples. The lovely Moghul mausoleum and garden (Bibi Ka Maqbaraat) and rock cut temples at Aurangabad are also well worth visiting. We liked the flute player at breakfast.

We really liked our stay at Vivanta! The staff was extremely caring. At the latitude chef Sainath, shital, shishpal and baghwat made sure we got everything we needed. Housekeeping was also exceptional and took care of every inquiry (especially a gentleman called Vivaji (?)). We took a car to Ellora with driver Razeeq who also made sure we got the most out of our trip! Thank you to all the staff, we hope to come again!

More unsweetened cereal yoghurt options e.g. plain at breakfast would have been good. More shady seating area in the garden would be good too.

Beautiful property with nice gardens and swimming pool. It was the staff that made this visit memorable as we stayed for 3 nights and were well looked after. Kind service with Indian charm!

The room decoration/furniture is a little random/old fashioned, but they said they are upgrading it soon. Most of the staff are very friendly and polite, but some ignore the female guest and address everything to "sir". Annoying when the booking is in my name.

Beautiful gardens and spacious, elegant hotel lobby. Nice exterior. Attentive staff. Three restaurants to choose from in the hotel.
