This is a great spot. Convenient, clean, and quiet. Breakfast was excellent. Needed a hotel in a pinch and Ork saved the night!

Extra fee for preparation of the sleeping sofa. We wanted to prepare it on our own and only asked for a bedsheet. We weren‘t allowed to do that and had to pay the full price. :-(

Pillows where hard and the bedlinen felt cheap. Sadly the waterslide was closed.

Big very nice rooms. Well planed and nicely designed. It gave me a home feelingI. I could easy “live there’. Great place to stay many days at and use as a base to travel around in the area. Nice big swiming pool and table tennis.

There were no complimentary slippers which would be a big plus, especially for going to the swimming pool

It was all good.

A wide choice of food for breakfast, with fresh fruit available. Young man on reception was very friendly & helpful. Pool & hot tub were not very busy & a great place to unwind after a day in the Golden Circle. Had beautifully presented, & tasty, snack in restaurant in the evening.

pools: not in best shape - changing rooms under renovation - so we needed to change in the hotel room - no bathrobe prepared in the room

hotel is a little bit old/outdated from outside ... pools also not in best shape, but very good value for the money. free parking space available. breakfast was very good and plentyful. great spot to stay overnight in order to start the hike to the "Reykjadalur Valley - Bathing in the hot river" early morning - and be onw of the first there :-).

No skyr on breakfast was a surprise. The pool was a little bit colder in the morning. Hotel is generally in good condition.

The steam bath! That's a once in a lifetime experience. The water is literally boiling under your feet. The northern lights were visible the night we stayed at the hotel, but it's better to drive out of the town to see the lights stronger.

Honestly, couldn't fault it!

The quickest check-in to a hotel I have ever experienced! Location-wise, it's great for access to the Golden Circle, Raufarhólshellir Lava Tunnel, Reykjadalur Hike and as a stopping point en-route to the south coast. There is free parking at the hotel and it is plentiful! Breakfast is good, warm and cold options with plenty of gluten-free cereals and alternative milk options. Would highly recommend spending the extra for the Superior Rooms as these are well equipped and very quiet. For dinner, would recommend heading across the road to the Greenhouse or Olverk brewery/pizzeria for good quality food.

This was a delightful hotel. We loved the space and that we were able to play games together in the evening. We really liked the pool and hot tubs too. Great breakfast, friendly staff and super location - we loved the fact that the supermarket was over the road and the food hall. We also enjoyed exploring the town and walking up to the geysers. Overall incredible and we will certainly recommend to friends and family.

It gets very busy and the guests can be very noisy especially after 10pm.

Family rooms were a brilliant size and comfortable. The pool and jacuzzi were a nice addition too.
