I liked everything except the mosquitoes, but that was a small thing. I bought spray that ended that problem.

The setting as a whole was just gorgeous @ if you're looking for someplace to stay and hideout The Westender Inn is perfect. Pools, jacuzzi great staff and amazing food.

We weren’t keen on the garden cottage so they very kindly moved us to a sea view and this was so lovely instead of heading back to MB, we returned for our last 2 nights in Jamaica

On arrival. There was a lot of old leaves out the cottage and a few wasps nests. They should have prepared for my arrival.

As soon as I brought issues about wasp nests and old leaves on lawn to their attention. They dealt with the issues and also asked to move my belongings to another cabin.

The outside lights are way too bright and this distracts from any enjoyment of the evening view of the sea and sky and tends to even light up the room. Occasionally there's no water. All the windows could use washing. Ordering food from the resturant is complicated and sometimes ineffectual.

Just a note that the tropical frozen drinks from the hotel bar are mostly made from syrupy mixes as opposed to fresh fruit. It's not too big of a deal, of course, but I prefer real fruit in those, so just a heads up if you also care about that.

The food at the hotel's restaurant was always great and our room was clean and comfortable. We were on the ocean side and it was lovely to fall asleep to the waves at night. We went in early March and it was a very calm atmosphere which we enjoyed. The saltwater pools are great - they're small, but since there weren't a ton of folks when we went, we got the pools all to ourselves at times.

It is a bit far in location from the night life and more lively areas in Negril, however, there is a resort bus that takes you to these locations at various times throughout the day.

The location is more on the secluded side; not crowded at all. The views were breathtaking and staff was very accommodating (I was able to switch to the oceanside villas which I prefer). Highly recommend if you prefer a more quiet vacation spot.

The place is a little far into the bush, also our toilet had a seat on it that did not fit the toilet it took almost 3 days to get this corrected but I appreciate it being done.

The place feels a little bit old and the facilities inside the room reflect that too. AC was not working properly (one did not seem to work while the other worked but leaked some water). The location is a bit far away to 7 mile beach (and the road is not in good shape - although this is not the property responsibility). Price as well is very high for what you get in practice (though this seems to apply to all places in Montego Bay and Negril).

The pool area closer to the bar and the sea is the outstanding feature of this place. Staff was helpful and polite too, for example they provided a cot for our baby.

Staff was friendly and kind, but the service was very slow (waiting over 1 hour for most meals … including a grilled cheese).

The food was absolutely amazing! Everything was so flavourful! Best food we had in Jamaica. Property was well kept, ocean view was stunning and having the option of 4 pools was great! 15 min drive from other attractions was very helpful!

The bed was a little firm.

The property was relaxing with a chill vibe, and we had pools to ourselves a couple times. Ocean was rough due to a storm that had just passed by. The access to the ocean is nice and looks like it would be an enjoyable swim for someone who is capable. Bring water shoes. Amazing sunsets at the seaside bar. The drivers are cool and take you anywhere you want to go for 8 bucks pp. Good smoke is available if you ask. Friendly dogs. Decent little resteraunt and bar. I recommend going to Rick's Cafe to have a couple of cocktails and take the leap. Dont be a chicken! The free shuttle to Whistling Bird on, 7-mile beach, runs at 10, 2 , and 6, but you can call the driver if you need something else. If we were to go again, I would call the resort and get a transfer arranged from the airport. Driving there is 3rd world, especially in the dark. The roads past Negril are trash and because of the storm, we were routed thru the mountains.

Our room didn't have A/C and it was a little uncomfortable to enjoy our super cute cabin. The location is a little remote so you had to really plan your visits to the beach and town to enjoy the complimentary shuttle.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. Meals were delicious. The pools were wonderful and there is a very nice view. We enjoyed snorkeling.

Unfortunately the bar ran out of ice quickly and food did take rather a long time but it was worth the wait as the dishes were scrumptious.

This charming Jamaican hotel at the West End of Negril offers clean and comfortable rooms with hammocks on the balconies surrounded by beautiful well kept gardens. Perched on the cliff top there are a plenty of sun beds and a number of small pools to relax in. The staff are super friendly and the office is on hand to advise on taxis and hire cars. Nicos in the office is was extremely helpful

There wasn't a comforter on the bed and when we requested one, we received a large blanket. The decor in the room needs to be modernized but it was simple and clean.

The food was great and the staff was friendly. The rooms were clean and cozy. I think the decor could use an update and the beds could have used a more comfy bedding.
