Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceIt’s a place to spend a night (9 hours as the name suggests) and that’s it. It doesn’t have a social environment, it’s underground so no natural light. There is a general alarm that rings around 9am for everyone to checkout, regardless of the length you stay
Was fine for a night.

NorwayBed wasn’t comfortable. The door seperating the sleeping area and shower/bathrooms was too thin so I could hear people using the facilities on the other side of the door at 3 am.
Looked cool, location was quite convenient and big locker for suitcase. Good wifi

NorwayThe hotel is in the same mall as the subway station is in. Making it effectively close to anything else connected yo rail or metro. And the station itself is close to an old school shopping street with glass roof. When I say close, I mean exit the station (at the correct gate), cross the road and you are there. Some 10-12 meters or so. At the end of that shopping street there's a nice shrine, and a surprisingly good ice cream vendor.

United States of AmericaYou need to check out of your capsule every single day, the capsule only had one power outlet and one usb outlet.
Location was really good, everything was very clean. The interior of the capsule was very big.

FranceOther clients were noisy. I don't blame the service, it's just what it is.
Very clean and tidy capsule. I was a bit clueless on how to find the hotel but after that check in was very easy. Lockers, showers and bathrooms were in perfect condition.

NetherlandsI liked everything.
I liked how quiet the actual pods were - I stayed on a night where the guests were all quite respectful. I also liked that you have plenty of bathroom space and lockers to keep your things tidy, and the convenient location in the mall and with a metro stop to the airport just a few metres away.

UkraineAs with all capsule hotels, I guess the heating worked a bit too well as it was hot. Also though I liked my stay, logistics of staying for more than one night might be a bit difficult.
I really love 9h capsule hotels and so far I stayed in one every time I visited Japan, prior to my flight out. Very clean, friendly staff and an excellent concept.

CanadaMight be nice to have a fan option in the pods? Maybe I missed that. Fairly quiet considering how it fills up! Would definitely stay at a 9hrs again.
Pretty quick and painless way to spend a night in transit. Pods always are cool / lockers / washrooms and shower rooms are very nice. No real issue with waiting for anything (except near the rush to check out). They also kept my bag for a couple hrs which was awesome 💪 Oh and catching a train to the airport was easiest commute ever.

United States of AmericaIf you have a very early flight like 7 am flight and you want to leave early its in place that actually shuts down entirely and almost impossible to get out. If it wasn't for the staff I would have cried honestly. They walked me out and even they were confused why things wouldn't open.
I had to stay before a super early flight. It was very quiet and comfortable. Definitely a great place to crash
