Very nice and comfortable stay, we found all we need. If you go there - grab the breakfast- it is awesome and very tasty. Also we had a dinner it was very nice. Staff is very helpful and ready to help. Very important they have net on windows from mosquitoes which allow you to sleep calmly ☺️

The breakfast wasn't as described - exceptional. It was also overpriced. Some parts of hotel need renovation and painting works.

Nice location near the see, can be easily reached by foot. Clean and warm rooms. Restaurant located in the building and serves tasty food.

A dog-friendly hotel. I loved the design - a tasteful mix of colors, fabrics, and real paintings on the wall. Close to the seaside - went there three times a day. :) I am coming back one day.

I asked for a possibility to check out 30 min. later because of a bus schedule. Unfortunately no, check out strictly at 12.00 or for a fee.

Location - everything was near. Bus stop, beach, shop.

As for the downsides - there could be more storage space for things in the room (e.g. shelves in the wardrobe) so that it would be easier to deal with things for longer stays.

The place is ideal for those who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of big cities, seek tranquillity and have a nice time in nature. The property is a 5-minute walk from a beach with a cliff where there are not many tourists at all. A very good place in Latvia to travel with your dog. Even with a baby pram (carrying it from/to the cliff) also manageable. As for the hotel - it has very helpful and friendly staff, beautiful wooden furnishings, nice infrastructure around the property for staying and playing with children, very tasty and reasonably priced on-site restaurant with local dishes and it is very clean. The breakfasts were very varied - the best breakfasts we had in Latvia :).

A minor thing that would be helpful is a few extra hooks, including in the bathroom, for hanging wet bathing suits and towels - it’s a beach after all.

Very nice location if you like quiet countryside and wild beaches - it’s a short walk through a field and forest to the Jūrkalne beach which is long, beautiful, and empty, for all your walking and skinny dipping needs. A quaint restaurant with good menu and excellent service. Bikes are available for exploration of the nearby fields and farms. A local grocery store just across the road, a few minutes away. The coffee and tea make-it-yourself service on the second floor is a nice touch. The room was basic but very clean and generally comfortable. The property is pet friendly, thoroughly enjoyed by our 🐕

They could have told us that there was a waste water farm collapse and that there was the official recommendation to not go swimming in the baltic sea. We heard about it only the last day of our stay.

It is lovely Hotel with a nice bourgois charme. Also the room was comfortable and nicely furnished. The area is very rural (with very few other restaurants that have strict opening times), so this hotel was a safe haven. The breakfast was good and the staff easy to talk to (although they are generally not very talkative). The beach and the coast are stunning.

I think it's a bit expensive for Latvian prices, plus considering that Jūrkalne is a small town in the middle of nowhere. The shower in our room was annoying to use, because the shower screen had a gap by the floor. So we ended up causing a mini flood in the bathroom.

Very nice place with a mix of modern and rustic. The breakfast was very tasty and the dinner we had there was nice too (we sat outside on the terrace and it was very peaceful).
