We had wonderful days at the Riad Hizad. The riad is beautifully furnished. We particularly enjoyed the fantastic roof terrace with the small pool. It was our oasis of peace in lively Marrakech. We were also able to have breakfast here in the morning sun. The location is perfect for exploring the medina. If we travel to Marrakech again, we will gladly book here again.

Isabelle and her team were outstanding, providing everything we could need and more! The Riad is stunning and beautifully well kept - a lovely sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the medina. Easy to walk to markets, restaurants, shopping and spas and they are able to book transport for journeys further afield.

Truly a wonderful place: exceptional hospitality with real warmth, the perfect location and a roof terrace to beat all in a city of amazing roof terraces. In well over a hundred countries I’ve not stayed anywhere I enjoyed more.

The only feedback I'd suggest is that the breakfast menu could be more varied, and a food and drink menu would be helpful. But nothing major.

We had an amazing holiday in Marrakech, which was made even better by our stay at Riad Hizad. Isabelle and her team were the best! Isabelle looked after us and treated us like family. She always chatted with us, made us laugh, and advised us on where to visit, eat, and drink. It felt like a home away from home! The roof terrace and pool area were beautiful and well-maintained. It was the perfect place to relax when it was hot. Our room was well-designed and spacious. All in all, we loved our stay here. Thanks again Isabelle for looking after us and being a great host. You are welcome to visit us in Leeds anytime! Or we can come to visit you in France :D

The Riad is very tastefully decorated by Isabelle and the roof terrace is wonderful. Breakfast served on the roof in the morning with excellent coffee and the sound of birds. So peaceful yet in the heart of the Medina. Home cooked food by Sana was really top notch delicious and Saiid was always on hand to help. We were treated to a fantastic dinner on the roof in front of the fireplace as it was unseasonably chilly. All efforts were made to make us enjoy our stay. We stayed in the Garden Room.

A bit too much insistance on paying right away

We could not find a better place with the gigantic room we had ! We arrived late at the riad and they welcomed us with great care. The room was comfortable and the bathroom so beautiful. We had to leave early when we left and everyone was super accommodating . We had a wonderful stay.

The only thing we didn’t like was the mattress. It could use an upgrade because it was hard, but everything was great!

Property is very nice and located in a quiet location in the Medina. Only a 10 min walk from the main square. Hichan, Said and Sana were really super friendly and helpful. Our dinner on the rooftop was perfect! Thank you all for making our trip in Marrakech memorable.

Everything about my stay at this Riad was perfect. It is absolutely beautiful, with a personal feel to it overall. As I was travelling alone and a little nervous about being in colourful Marrakech and not knowing what to expect this was the perfect place to base myself. The staff were absolutely incredible, with a small staff, you were able to talk and get to know each one of them. Syed was so attentive, happy and friendly. He greeted me every morning when I went for a beautiful breakfast on the terrace. And was there every evening when I came back from a day in the city. Always positive and so polite. Jennah (not sure of the spelling) was also very welcoming and friendly. She met me when I arrived and saw me out when I left, she works incredibly hard and the room was spotless every day. Isabel who owns this Riad is an exceptional woman, she has created an oasis of a place within the crazy walls of the Medina. She works hard to make you feel at home in this beautiful space, and her staff clearly respect her and their jobs. I enjoyed chatting with her and being inspired also, (which was part of the reason I was travelling there alone) My room was absolutely stunning, lots of space and the bathroom was something else! The terrace is everything you need for a stay in the heat, with a pool to cool off in, and the food was traditional and tasty. If I return to Marrakech, which I hope to do in the near future, I will definitely be staying here again. It felt like home by the end of my short stay.

The location was perfect for exploring the medina and the staff were brilliant. The riad is beautiful with an exceptional rooftop perfect for relaxing after a busy day out in the medina. The host (Isobelle) was fantastic and gave us a free room upgrade as well as help to book activities such as hammam massage and transfers. Siad and the other staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Our room (Berber suit) was gorgeous with beautiful high quality furnishings.

It’s a bit far from the main roads so there is a bit of walk to more “open” locations for tours and taxis to pick you up if you’re going anywhere out of the old town area.

A beautiful, traditional riad located in the north of the medina close to Ben Youssef Madrasa. The rooms were exquisite, spacious and very clean. The host, Said, was kind enough to stay late and cook us dinner when we arrived later in the evening after our flight was delayed. He along with the women staff were very friendly, hospitable and helpful. The breakfast and dinner was lovely and delicious. My family and I had a wonderful experience staying here.

Whilst the breakfast was fresh and well presented to prepare for the day ahead, could’ve been a little bit larger in choice but everything was very tasty. The only other thing we disliked was having to leave everything was perfect. Thank you again.

Sometimes you don’t know what to expect and are pleasantly surprised. In this case we arrived in Marrakesh for the first time and arrived at the most beautiful Riad imaginable totally surpassed the pictures and reviews that been posted previously . We were the only couple staying at the riad for the first 2 days, the service was exceptional beautiful rooms both bedrooms and also the Common living rooms and also the pool area upstairs. All I can say is thank you for a great Christmas. Totally amazing experience. Sona and our other host thank you. x

Our experience at Riad Hizad was simply fantastic! Thanks to Madame Isabelle's impeccable arrangements, our transfer from the airport was seamless. The Riad, a gem in the Medina, provided a tranquil oasis after our lively adventures in Marrakesh. With the incredibly hospitable staff, it truly felt like a true home away from home.
