Not enough outlets in the room. There was one outlet by the bathroom sink and one oddly placed outlet close to the floor level in a corner but none by the bed, dresser or nightstand. Breakfast buffet omelet could only be ordered by using your phone through their app and their system was not working so no omelette for me for the four mornings I was there. I don’t know why you can’t just ask at the buffet line for the omelette. Older people don’t like to have to go through their phone or some app just to get an omelette when you are standing right there. That’s not progress.

The hostess in the restaurant was so friendly. Wait staff were excellent and the maid service and front desk staff were excellent.

If they could add one or two more restaurant options, it would provide more variety instead of having just the one place you could go to for food. They had a snack bar, but that was only open at certain times of the day and had a limited menu. The hours it's open makes sense, so you have a place to go to and snack in case you don't want a full meal, but more restaurant options would've been nice. There's also no in room service, so it makes it a little inconvenient in case you want to stay in and have a meal

The location of the resort is great, because you are literally minutes from the airport and are very close to the stores on the strip and the downtown area. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. They also had live music one of the nights we were there which was nice. There's also filtered water stations around the resort, so you can always fill up your water bottle in case you were about to head out on the town or go back to your room

Great hotel at great location. This hotel had good restaurants and great location ( not far from the beach ) . Bus stop is very close ( so is the airport ) and 30 mins walk from the city centre.

I had thought it was on the beach when I booked it but they have a free shuttle to take you to the beech. The pool was nice and ended up using that more.

Fantastic location for being near the downtown area and airport. Beautiful courtyards and pool. Fantastic live entertainment on Saturday night with talented local dancers and musicians. Staff were very nice.

My wife and I stayed here at this wonderful destination for our 10 year anniversary. This was our first time experiencing Mexico and Hotel Buenaventura was exceptional. We enjoyed the open availability to amazing food as well as the endless drinks at the bar which had a grill attached to get some food for when the buffet was closed in between meal times. The staff were very friendly and if they didn't quite understand the language barrier they found someone who did and we were helped. Anytime we needed a taxi the Bell hops at the front would call for one and within 5 minutes or less we would be on our way. The rooms were nice and clean.

Pool was always clean and a lovely temperature. Lots of sunlight hours. Never had to wait for a table at meal times. Staff were very friendly. Beach club was small but sufficient. Great value. Not too wild or loud at nights. Would return.

The only downside to our stay was the weak wifi. It didn't work properly when in the room but worked fine once in the common areas.

Great experience. Staff were so friendly and super helpful. We went over the easter holiday so it was slightly crowded. Notwithstanding, service was still top-notch. Great food and the drinks just kept coming. With the help of one of the housekeeping staff Arides, the hotel surprised us with a bottle of champagne and chocolates for our anniversary. Our bartender Crescendio was amazing as well. Always checking in to see that I had something in my cup :) The beach is not attached to the hotel but it is only a 5min walk and when you get there, the hotel has a concessioned spot available with drinks provided. Jorge provided really good service as well. Overall our stay was great and if we are ever back in PV, we'll be staying here again. Ps, the weird pillowcases in the pictures are ours lol

My husband and I and some family came to spend some fun quality time and had booked our excursions in advance, upon arrival we were asked to participate in a short (1.5 hour presentation) on one of the days of our stay. No pressure was give. However we didn’t attend and they didn’t push it any further.

The service is top notch here. Compared to other all inclusive option's, this one has real authentic Mexican charm. For the price, this little resort packs a punch. Next door is a market for your everyday needs if you forgot something and right next door there is a lively bar.

Our room needed some updates.

The staff, the pool and the beach were highlights. It was super clean and most pleasant in every way. A charming hacienda in the busy city of puerto Vallarta.
