In one of the breakfast half of the food was gone, and we waited 20 minutes to see if they restocked it, how ever they didn’t- so we needed to leave and go buy food out of the hotel(although we paid for it.) just to be clear, the breakfast started at 7 until 11. We arrived there at 7:30. It’s was very disappointing because I let the front deck know about it and they didn’t afford any refund about this breakfast.

The hotel and the room look very nice. The waitress in the pool and in the dining area are lovely.

Air conditioning was a bit loud

Cosy hotel just outside the Main Street but still minutes away on foot to the beach and main shopping area Fairly quiet at night apart from the night bar but doesn’t go past 11pm Beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious Great breakfast with hot food Staff was really friendly and helpful throughout Tour desk in reception area was really handy as they can help you plan excursions Pool area was a plus

Room was basic with a lack of storage space for clothes etc. We didnt spend much time in the room but it would have been nice to have more than just a basic TV which showed one English-speaking channel (bbc news). Ground floor room had window looking out over a walkway and pool area so privacy was lacking or blinds remained closed so had no natural light.

Staff were friendly, polite, and helpful. Ground floor oom was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed.

The personnel was not very available, we have been charged 10€ for a lost key (even though noone prevented us at check in). Kitchen closes before the indicated time with no different solution proposed to the guests. Finally, the room is not well isolated and we had noises Just in front of the room every night and morning.

Nice swimming pool and close to the beach and to the restaurants. Nice cocktails and restaurant is good. Overall, the price is in line.

I had a room that was close to the pool bar so it was a bit noisy, also because it was near the stairway.

Very nice room, big, huge bed, well equipped with shampoo, shower gel and conditioner, very nice pool and many sun chairs and beds, nice food and reasonably priced. I would definitely come again.

Friday to Saturday they had a little pool party untill 1 am, which was a little louder and turned ob the pool music at 7 am again. It didn‘t bother us too much but just letting you know.

The hotel was super nice. The pool area is like in the pictures if not even nicer. The pool temperature was cool - the best way to cool of from the heat. We also had some drinks & a dinner at the pool - both really yummy. Our room was on the lowest level behind the pool area. Due to the arrangement of the plants it was not noisy at all (just if people were chatting while passing our room, but this would be the case for any room). The AC worked well and the beds were very comfy. The bathroom was spacey and the tiles in the shower really beautiful. The breakfast was super delicious. Various forms of eggs - sunny side up, omelet- bread, sweets, cereals, great selection of fresh fruits, juices, coffee, tea,… and very sweet and accomodating staff at the breakfast place. There are lovely tour guides in the lobby which do not approach you but will book a tour for you, if you wish. We did the Akumal snorkeling (with turtles) and cenotes tour, which we can highly recommend. En plus there is secure parking included. The parking space is right next to the hotel. They have a small gym which works well, if it‘s less than 4 people in there. Lots of supermarkets, restaurants and bars are to be found in walking distance. As well as the beach.

The pool is the best part! The rooms are clean and AC is good. Had a little trouble contacting the hotel prior to the stay because we booked with a third party (booking.com).

The main issue at this hotel is that they lower some standards in small things here and there. Individually, they don’t seem like much but overall it downgrades the experience. Some examples include the bad Wifi in the pool area, not refilling the water bottle in the room, not refilling the tissues in the bathroom, etc. The rooms are not sound proof (in or out). You can hear everything that happens in the inner corridor or pool, and you can definitely hear everything that happens in the bathroom. Some of the staff is kind and helpful, others not so much. We also had an incident of a guest throwing up in the bar area after too many drinks. The hotel should’ve managed the situation better. It took a while for anyone to do anything about it.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is at the heart of Playa del Carmen without being in the middle of the party scene. In just 5 minutes you can easily reach the night life area but you won’t be disturbed at night when the crowds get rowdy (our room was in the back of the hotel). The breakfast was good and the poolside service was ok. Overall the hotel is clean and feels safe. The room was generally comfortable, but it looks much better in the photos. It is a very basic room.

contract DID NOT indicate that no one was allowed in the room except guests. I booked I large living room area so my family who are living in Playa del Carmen could visit and we would have an air conditioned area to meet. Lunch took way too long to get ~45-60 minutes.

Being ignored by the bartender.

This was my third stay. The folks at the front desk are very good. The breakfast crew needs some improvement. The cooks need some improvement. They only speak Spanish. So, every morning is a challenge. It can wear one down during an extended stay. The bartenders at the pool bar tend to enter into conversations leading to ignoring the needs of their customers. However, they perk up when there are young ladies they find attractive.
