Sound insolation is not the best. The street is quiet but you'll hear dogs barking and people chatting outside your room (our room was at the ground floor).

Right by the airport. My wife and I walked from Terminal 1 with our 20months old toddler and 2 backpacks. We walked back to the terminal at 04.00am (the neighborhood felt safe). The terminal to hostel walk (or vice versa) took less than 20 minutes. Perfect place to stay at the end of a trip in Ciudad de Mexico / Mexico City. The neighbourhood is authentic and laid back without the typical frenetic pace of the capital. We traveled with a toddler and loved Plaza Civila del Carmen (half way between the Terminal and the hostel). The plaza had water games for kids and was surrounded by very affordable / authentic Mexican restaurants. This family hostel is nowhere near the standards of nowadays hotels, but never aimed at it. This is a very interesting building with multiple floors (no elevator), unique living areas, lots of plants, some birds, and a rooftop where you can look at the planes landing/leaving (you can see the airport tarmac - paved runways).

I think the location was a bit confusing to get there from the airport, maybe it’s my fault.

It’s like staying at someone cool house. Very interesting building. The staff was super nice and kind. She didn’t speak English but she knew my room was on the top and I was cold so she brought me extra blanket, I didn’t even ask. Breakfast is basic, self service. Overall worth the money and will stay here again! Thanks!

The building was really cool--beautiful pet birds, bright colours, and open-air build. The private bathroom in my room was as advertised which I appreciated. Furthermore, hostel staff were friendly and check in/out was quick and easy.

for being a hostel close to the airport they should write in big bold letters that the hostel has no elevator, I was travelling from South America to Europe and I had a huge suitcase that I couldn't take upstairs to my room because the stairs were too narrow and it was to floors to carry up, I was staying just one night, I left my suitcase dowstairs in the reception, nothing bad happend, nothing got stolen, all my belongings were there however, I was worried about my suitcase all the time so I strongly recommend you to please put this in bold letters so your tenants can be aware of this.

The room was nice, bed cozy, the staff was polite and kind, they were 24/7 at your service, the decoration is beaitiful, a place full of color and plants.

If you have a lot of luggage, you have to carry yourself to the first floor as there is no lift. The pressure of the hot water is very low.

The place is very close to the airport. The staff is friendly. Rooms are fine. It is a good budget-stay for transit. The cleanliness of the toilets was good.

The taxi to meet me at the airport took over half an hour to arrive. It would have been faster and cheaper and more convenient to take a Didi or an Uber ride. I took a Didi to return to the airport which took two minutes to arrive at the hostel and charged me one-third of the cost of the hostel's rate.

Interesting, funky building on several levels. Convenient to airport. Free basic breakfast with awful coffee.

There’s no sign out front so the cab driver and I couldn’t see it. I had to ask at a bar where it was. The bed in my room was very uncomfortable. The ceiling very low near edge of the bed and I hit my head. Sketchy neighborhood.

Despite booking an airport transfer the day prior and paying, they forgot to book it. It didn't cause us any problems since I try to arrive at the airport MORE than early, but a heads up to anyone in the future to double check that its booked rather than waiting until the scheduled time. The personnel are very particular about residents ONLY eating at the designated area which made me feel like I was being monitored. Am I to not drink a beer with my dinner? It was just odd to have such a lovely seating area on the patio and not be able to use it for meal time. The staff were constantly congregating in the common areas- maybe it's just me being paranoid, but I felt under constant supervision. Perhaps that was to be more accommodating towards the guests, Im an introvert so I could have read the situation wrong. Despite breakfast being offered from 7-10 ensure you arrive prior to 9 if you want any sort of selection or coffee. Despite this, it was a lovely stay and would stay again.

The space is very well used, the patio is lovely, the market is just out the door and plentiful. We arrived at noon and had to wait for check in and spent a lovely time on the patio drinking coffee. Just a really beautiful place. The tea selection for breakfast was beyond my expectations! Nice to have warm water in the shared shower and despite it being shared- it was very clean.

They were extremely accommodating for our late arrival and early departure. Very cool styling. Nice and clean. If you have mobility issues, not a good fit.

No direct daylight in room. Private bathroom was only toilet and washbasin. Shower was outside the room and shared with others; when I wanted to take a shower, it was occupied... This was not mentioned in the reservation description.

I chose this hostel for its vicinity to the airport, however if you go in/out of terminal 2 opposed to 1, it's completely on the opposite side of the airport and double the distance. It's also very hard to get a taxi even if you attempt to organize it through the property itself. Terminal 2 is mayhem, and i'd suggest just calling an uber. Also be prepared to walk up lots of stairs if you choose a room upstairs. I'd suggest lower rooms if you have luggage.
