Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SingaporeNothing much but if we were to be picky - pool area is pretty small, TV does not have airplay
Rooms were clean, modern and spacious. Convenient location between several malls, close walking distance to new TRX mall and various places to eat, although the roads around do get very crowded during peak hour. Good value for money.

FranceExcellent location for shopping addicts and city-breakers (5 to 15 minutes walk from the city’s biggest malls), exceptional view on KL’s numerous and breathtaking skyscrapers, very spacious room (40m2 minimum), very clean bedroom/bathroom linen, modern amenities (rooftop infinity pool, sauna, arcade room, self service laundry, ionic hair dryer, etc), helpful staff (special thanks to the French speaking attendant from the breakfast service and the concierge who arranged a smooth airport transfer for the check-out).

UkraineSome little things that could be improved would include minor maintenance things that should be attended and paid more attention to: in our case it was the sink drainage in the bathroom which was not very good; the shower head holder was not attached properly (and not very convenient, I would suggest the one that allows to fix the shower head, instead of the selected design). Also, for the room with 2 persons it would be wiser to provide 2 teabags of each kind of tea, instead of 1. As for breakfast, adding some no-sugar yoghurt and salad vegetable options would probably be a good idea. The gym is mostly oriented at males, for female sports it's necessary to add some yoga/stretching mats and smaller dumbbells. Nothing to complain much about, but more attention to such details would make the experience better.
Very good location in Bukit Bintang: close to the big shopping malls, not far from Petronas towers. The hotel itself is a 43-floor modern building, with common areas (gym, playroom!, self-serviced laundry room, saunas and open rooftop pool) on top 3 floors. This common area is really a great addition to the hotel services. The rooftop pool with a view is a blast! Modern, good sized rooms, stylish design. Availability of little "kitchen area" in room is also a great plus (microwave, sink, some dishes and filtered water) I liked very much the ability to make room requests using the virtual concierge (by chat) Reception on 40th floor, but there is a concierge and a person who greets you on the ground floor, so you always feel welcome. The breakfast was nice

New ZealandEverything was great but the coffee machine kept breaking every morning we were there and kept running out of milk, however when this was brought up with a staff member there were happy to help and fix it.
Capri by Fraser Hotel in Kuala Lumpur provided a comfortable and convenient stay, with modern amenities, spacious rooms, friendly service, and a central location, making it a great choice for a hassle-free experience in the city as it is close to so many places. Walking distance of one of the biggest mall. They have a gaming room attached to where the laundry is, with arcade style gaming machine and a small room with PS5s. The roof top pool was amazing! I'd go down to the corner street shops which opens up early to have some breakfast!

And when I ask at the lobby, they can give it back to me. Thank you so much...

United Arab EmiratesBack of house stuff needs customer service and etiquette training , the technician who come to assist with tv was arrogant- we had switched off the Ac as we did not want Ac and when he walked he switched on the AC and he mentioned you need to switch on AC in an authoritative tone without checking with us if we needed it on or not. It was also pointless to come to our room as there was no solution offered he should have just said over the phone, it is not possible to screen mirror with tv if you have an iPhone . Anyway it was not a big deal for us since we were here for one night only.
Cleanliness and location, reception and concierge team were very helpful and welcoming.

MalaysiaThe hotel breakfast was subpar for the most part but the kueh selection was the saving grace of the breakfast as there was a selection of them that I enjoyed eating. Regarding the launderette, consider getting your own laundry detergent somehow. The automatic dispenser provided by the machine seemed inadequate, leaving my clothes lacking that fresh scent I was hoping for. It felt more like they'd been through a rinse cycle than a proper wash.
Capri's location couldn't be more convenient, nestled just minutes away from Pavilion, TRX, Lot10, and other bustling spots I frequent. Surpassing my expectations for a budget-friendly stay under $100 per night, Capri's rooms are impressively spacious, especially the bathroom. The added convenience of a microwave in the room proved handy for reheating leftover food, and the filtered drinking water tap by the sink eliminated the need for constant water bottle requests or outside purchases. One highlight of my stay was the well-equipped gym, strategically situated on a high floor, offering a breathtaking city view while breaking a sweat. Don't miss out on this perk during your stay at Capri – it's an experience worth indulging in. Trust me, you won't regret it.

SingaporeNothing not to like. Just wished the pool was a little bigger. Having said that, the view from up there was beautiful.
Conveniently located. I like the concept. There was a a microwave oven, plates, cups, cutlery for two.in our room. I also like that you could do your laundry at this place they call the Spin and Play (I think) and while waiting, you play games or simply sit and chill. This is also near the pool area.
