United KingdomOver the weekend, the cleaning staff were quite loud. Despite requesting a non-smoking room, the neighboring guests were smoking on their balcony, causing the smell to infiltrate my room. Additionally, there was considerable noise in the corridors at night, and occasionally loud music disturbed the peace. Despite the disturbances, the staff did not address the noise levels. Furthermore, while the gym was closed to paying hotel guests, it remained open for hotel staff.
The Room was excellent - although it was old, it was kept impeccably clean, and the air conditioning worked well. The service provided was commendable, especially the cleaning staff who did an outstanding job. The breakfast offered delicious food, but on the weekend, due to a seminar, it was quite crowded and noisy, which made me feel somewhat unwelcome during breakfast. I suggest that if seminars are held, separate tables should be allocated for other hotel guests elsewhere to ensure a more pleasant dining experience. Nonetheless, the reception staff were friendly and accommodating. Taxis is right infront of hotel. RM12 to town, RM15 to Dutch fort. I walked from Dutch Fort to town through a loveley fishing village and saw monkeys on the way.

MalaysiaThe hotel quite expensive. The whole toilet was wet when we first check in. There is bathub but unfortunately we couldn’t use it. We choose room with bathub just so we can use the bathub but we cannot. The water stopper was not there. Hot water is not functioning well. The toiletries provided just shampoo and body soap. No toothbrush and etc. For the price RM200++, it’s considered as a 3-4 star hotel, but nothing showed like that. The front desk lady, were rude and unfriendly. Before check in we can drop our luggage at luggage room, but once checkout she even asked us for how many hours we want to keep the luggage. We were your customer, before or after the checkin. You shouldn’t asked and be rude. The breakfast choices were not much.
The room is spacious. The location near beach. There’s ironing room. Front desk which is Chinese man is so friendly and kind.
