Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

RomaniaActually my rating would be below 5, but I don't want to reduce so bad the score of this hotel, this was my 7th stay in Cosmo Hotel and from 7 occasion only one time this bad experience: - My late checkout was not organized well at all... The housekeeping didn't know about it, so they wake me up at 10 am (I wanted to sleep longer before long flight back to home). Even though the reception should have known, and I also told the janitor the day before... Then at 1 pm again a janitor knocked on my door, if I am still there... I arranged late check-out for 4 pm! Why nobody was informed that I will leave at 4 pm only! And the cherry on the cake was that an Indian guy opened my door at 3 pm, he got my room already before I left... When I finally checked out at 4 pm nobody apologized for this bad experience! - Even after I turned off the AC, my room was too noisy... The ventilation was very noisy, I couldn't sleep well... Room 1106. - I don't know why the price was so high for such a small room, usually the price is better.
Please see my previous reviews: I always stay in this hotel and I always give a 10 points review, because I like to stay here. But this time it was different, maybe some mistakes lead to this. But anyway, I will still book this hotel when I will travel to KL (maybe next year).
