Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Sri LankaIt was a amazing stay. TV lobby with kids tent was heart touching. We stay their nights. Staff were attended every request made by us and cleaned the room every day. They arranged everything to perfect our stay at Shangri-la Kuala lumpur. Highly recommended. I would say that this will never forget those 4 day stay at hotel. Thank you Shangri-la Kuala Lumpur.

Our stay at Shangri-La exceeded our expectations on every level. We arrived to the hotel late due to a delayed flight, but the front desk officer checked us in fast and accommodated all our requests. He even gave us a room upgrade, which we appreciated after a long day. The breakfast was exceptional, and the hotel atmosphere was very pleasant and welcoming. The location is perfect too, we were able to see a lot of the city by taxi. The rooms were clean and in-room dining was fast and delicious.

IndiaSwimming pool was closed for maintenance and was not informed prior or during check-in. Alternate arrangements were made to use swimming pool at a nearest hotel with shuttle service which was not comfortable or convenient.

Every member of the staff, from the front desk, horizon club (Kely, Syafiq & Ina) to the housekeeping team (Karan), went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were not only met but exceeded. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction truly set them apart. The horizon club rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring the city. Perfectly located close to KL tower and 10 mins walk to KLCC mall & Petronas tower. Highlight of my stay was the exclusive access to the club lounge. The club lounge service at Shangri-La is unparalleled, offering a tranquil oasis where guests can unwind and enjoy a range of complimentary amenities. From the afternoon tea service to the evening cocktail hour, every aspect of the club lounge experience was thoughtfully curated to provide the ultimate in relaxation and indulgence. Breakfast was sumptuous spread of delicious and freshly prepared dishes, ranging from continental favorites, fresh fruits and juices to local specialties. Used Grab app to book taxi to commute and explore the town.
