- ants (mostly in the bathroom) - everything could use a proper deep cleaning (carpet, sink, toilet), walls should be re-painted, cobwebs should be removed - no cold water in the dispenser (only warm/hot water) - stale air in the room (felt like being in a basement when we first came in) - leaky sink (not too bad)

- good A/C - quiet in the night/morning - smooth check-in process - good wifi - washing machine available (although we didn’t get to use it) - soap/shampoo & toilet paper provided

Nice host, and always available on whatsapp. The room was clean and comfortable, only the paint is quite old. Basic functional bathroom. Hot and cold filtered water available in the hallway, as well a microwave in the kitchen (fridge was not working).

It rains a lot in Ipoh so the air is quite humid which it can be felt inside the room, however nothing that the A/C does not sort out. For the price we paid this is not something we can complain about it and it seems that they are trying to improve the place anyways.

Bed was very comfortable, the place was far from main roads and therefore quiet and calm, for a good night sleep. They have water for free, each room as a kettle if needed and private toilet. A/C was working and needed. Owner was incredibly nice and welcoming. Only 20 minutes walking along riverside to the city center.

Room was generally clean however there are some spiders and their webs around the ceiling so it is quite uncomfortable for an arachnophobic person like me

Cleanliness was poor, even though the bed was clean, but the floor a lot of hair strings & furniture was very dusty. I have to clean the bathroom by myself before use it. Toilet bowl & sink was slimy.

The location was good and I think should be enough parking space. Room space should be ok with the price.

-The room could have been better with a good ventilation, bcs it's quite smelly. I think bcs of the carpet. Maybe can do just a little makeover. Then I would have been very satisfied.

For a light sleeper need to used earplug since can hear people doing there stuff.

Location wise is on point. The rate is affordable and I'm a satisfied customer. Definitely with repeat the stay here. Overall experience is good. Since I'm just for a stay n get a good night rest it's OK.

Parking - the homestay is within a residential area (the property was renovated to a homestay) so expect the parking to be limited. Air conditioner - the placement of aircond in my room was not strategic, During the day, it feels warmer. Maybe the staff can rearrange the bed so customer can feel the air cond better.

Room - small but comfortable enough. My room doesn't have TV. The receptionist offer to upgrade to room with TV for additional RM5 only but since I merely book this place to rest and sleep there is no need. It has private bathroom with hot water heater. Facilities - wifi, iron, hot and cold water dispenser, hair dryer, washing machine (without dryer), laundry area to dry your clothes, kitchen sink, microwave, rice cooker were provided. Location - walking distance to Kinta Riverfront, and if you love to walk a bit, you can reach to Pasar Karat by walking around 10-15 mins. Staffs - friendly and attentive. 2 sachet of instant coffee was provided in my room :-)
