Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The location is close both to Amsterdam and Purmerend. The studio is really private, and a very good size. The kitchenette is very useful if you want to make a quick breakfast in the morning.The host is very nice and welcoming.We really enjoyed our stay.

GermanyWe were warmly welcomed by the owner, a beautiful, intelligent, voluble and very kind woman, who led us to the small apartment we had rented, coquettish, intimate and very clean. In the fully equipped kitchenette we found paracetamol, tea and coffee at discretion, apple juice and the delicious specific Dutch dessert "stroopwafell". Everything from the house. Books, magazines and various games were available in the hall, for children and even for older children, adults. A parking space for the car is also available, going to Amsterdam is accessible by public transport, from the station, which is easily accessible, located about 500 meters away. For warm days, a beautifully landscaped garden is available for those wishing to sunbathe. We warmly recommend this location!

SingaporeAttic apartment was very warm throughout the day, even through the night on a hot day. The ventilator provided was only sufficient to provide ‘wind’ within one metre of it, which is grossly insufficient for the whole attic. The accommodation may be more suitable for cooler seasons. Road traffic noise is audible throughout the day & night. Affected my sleep as I am a light sleeper. Combination of a warm & noisy place made the stay quite uncomfortable. Had a chat with host & understand it may not be viable to install an air condition because there are not many hot days in a year. It’s a shame because the air con would have solved the heat & noise problem (shut window). Personally felt that pricing is pitched too high for location & quality of stay.
Carmen was a nice & responsive host. Apartment was nicely done up, although there were limitations. Free parking space.
