Naarden streets are very tight and unlimited parking is hard to come by but Jacqueline offered a car spot if we didn’t find street parking but we managed. Stairs up to rooms is typical Dutch narrow and steep. All quite private except you are conscious you are in someone’s home and try to not make too much noise walking about the squeaky floorboards. Jacqueline is super friendly and helpful.

Beautifully stylish B&B in Jacqueline’s home. We had 2 separate rooms. Ours was large with a 4 poster bed, double vanity and spa bath. Small cold toilet which is typical in Holland. Jacqueline was wonderful and even washed our laundry for us free thank you!! Kids room is over 2 levels with one in the attic which had a queen bed, bathtub and towel, dining table, cofffee machine, tv, armchair. Downstairs had a queen bed, shower and tv. Both rooms are cosy and stylish especially the attic. Access between both rooms is via a short hallway at top of stairs and all fairly private.

The stairs are steep. Not a problem for us, but if you are a bit older or have trouble walking you may have difficulties.

Beautiful rooms with comfortable beds. The host, Jacky, is very friendly and helpful.

The first staircase was a little bit steep and narrow for carrying bags.

The house‘s central location was excellent because it is in the center of the old fortress ring. The hosts were very kind and supportive. The house is a cute old brickwall house.

I booked this room because of the jacuzzi, when I asked the owner how to use it, he said he never uses it. So when I switched it on it was disgusting smell in the room also, because the bathroom is not separated from the bedroom. I was really upset and disappointed about it. Another thing, I can complain is that the owners live in the same house, so you can here them and the dog in the morning! It feels more like airbnb than hotel.

We rent an appartmnet in two levels (1st floor and loft). The access was from a very steep and narrow staircase.

The location its-self was perfect. Nice neigbourhood in an historic town very closed by car to Amsterdam. Friendly and helpful owner. Although the owner lived in the same house (groundfloor) was not problem at all. Value for money accommodation.

The wifi was very poor in the top floor - I only got a connection by standing next to the tv. It would be useful to have instructions on how the tv operates I tried to get it working but to no avail. For me it was comfortable but price/quality could be better.

I stayed in the large suite divided over two floors although only the top floor has a toilet. There is a lot of space and the place is attractively furnished. The property is located right in the centre in a quiet street. The shower is modern and works well.

Very steep stairs to reach the rooms (but this is very standard in Holland) would not put me off staying again - just tricky with children!

Lovely big room, nicely decorated and all the amenities you needed. Plenty of breakfast and brought to the room. Landlady was lovely too. Nice town, also not far from public transport if you needed it

Spacious loft room with flamboyant and quirky decor, located in a beautiful little fortress town just 25 mins by train to Amsterdam. I visited for a day trip last year and resolved to come and stay the night, it was a good choice. Didn't go for breakfast, but the room had a minifridge and coffee maker - combined with comfy bed and great shower it's all I need! Long walk out to the marina for dinner at Porterhouse - killer burgers. Jacqueline was a great host as well, ended up chatting with her and other locals over drinks outside van Demmers cafe.

The steps to reach the flat upstairs are extremly narrow and dense. It makes it quite difficult and fearful to carry the bags up to the flat.

The flat is beautiful and well-designed. The host is a very charmant and nice lady.

All was OK! Parking by apartment also OK, no problem to find it. Naarden is very close to Amsterdam, with car from Naarden to Gein and then with Metro into Amsterdam. Free parking in Gein.

A really nice B&B in a beautiful little village about 20 minutes' drive from Amsterdam. Idyllic setting with very friendly locals. The hosts were really nice and welcoming. Good wifi. If we happen to visit the area again, we will definitely choose Design B&B Naarden Vesting.
