How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A little bit old school hallways..
The spa facilities. Everything was accessible and working. Steam bath. Sauna. Bubble bath and cold bath. So nice! :) It is also near the beach and the town. ❤️ the breakfast was also nice!

Reception staff not friendly (at the ones at the check in/out process). The remote control for 3 of the 4 beds didn’t work.

Excellent breakfast!!! We even tried the indoor- and outdoor pool. Nothing special, but hey! It´s includede! And the sauna. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank you :-) We got a very special booking.com-price as we understand. So nothing to complain about.

I had not noticed that the rooms did not have air conditioning, it wasn’t even something I thought needed checking nowadays. The room was therefore hot. The room and bathroom was also very old fashioned but everything worked.
Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, comfortable bed.

The bed was a little "unstable" for a tall and 7 months pregnant lady like me.
The location is just incredible! I knew we were close to the beach but that is super close and it is soooo beautiful. After our stay here we went to Amsterdam for 3 days and all we wanted was to go back. Our dogs loved it at the hotel and at the beach. Everything is so dog friendly. The breakfast was good, everything was always replenished frequently and the croissants were our favorite part.

Having to pay 6,5€ for the car park... No "tea/coffe" tray in the room
Superb location, literally on the beach, and great views on seals on a sunny day. Lots of great walks available right from the hotel. Lovely, comfortable and quiet rooms. Marvellous breakfast : scrambled eggs being cooked right in front of you plus so much to eat that you don't know where to start : incredible Lovely pools, outdoors and indoors plus a jacuzzi Good bar with a friendly atmosphere, and reasonnable rates

Rooms are good but a bit outdated, could use a modern makeover.

Cleanliness in the hallways (spiders nets in the corners of the ceilings) could be improved
Staff was very friendly, food tasty and overall the room was clean. Bed was comfortable as well and additional facilities such as swimming pool and saunas, making the stay more enjoyable. The location is a big plus, very close to the beach. Very much recommended :)

we paid for extra buffet dinner, €35 per person, drinks were not included and there was not enough food for all the guests. we had to wait in line to get warm vegetables, tray with cakes was gone in two minutes without refill, terrible experience for expensive price!!! We asked for quiet rooms, next to each other. instead of having our kids next door, we had another family with children yelling, slaming doors at 11 Pm. I understand that the hotel can hardly do anything, but these rooms were connected with door, so they could give them to one family paying for two rooms.
