We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

South AfricaWe initially made the booking and paid but then had to change our full names to correspond to our Schengen visa application and their system created a new booking which showed on the list as not paid after we have made the full payment with the booking. It took a while to sort out. We did the same with our other bookings at other hotels but we had no duplicate bookings. Just a flaw that they need to look in as it was quite frustrating.

United KingdomThe towels were so small they were like hand towels - also rough and flared up my eczema We got to the hotel an hour early to drop our bags off/see if they had a room available (which they did!) but was asked to pay €25 euros for ‘early check in’. Most hotels will just let you check in if the room is available and it was just really inconvenient

Ireland- Check-in was slow but I think we were just unlucky with timing as the staff were all busy helping the guests ahead of us - The hotel is not near anything else so restricted to eat in the hotel itself
- We chose this hotel based on the proximity to Hoofddorp station as a base for Mysteryland music festival. The station is a 4 minute walk from the hotel, which was perfect for getting the shuttle bus too and from the festival - Breakfast was great. Lots of variety with hot food (eggs, mushrooms, sausages, bacon) as well as fruit, yoghurt, cereals, breads and sweet treats (pastries, mini pancakes) and every condiment. - The hotel staff were helpful and friendly

Germany- Booking breakfast got complicated as the restaurant was not informed about our booking, which led to confusion about the bills, etc. - The breakfast was not bad, but the bread, eggs, etc., could be fresher. - The location is excellent for accessing the airport, otherwise recommended only for short stays.
+ The room was spacious, clean, and quiet + The beds were comfy, and the air conditioning system was working properly + The staff was supportive + We did not use the hotel's parking area and parked in the public space in front of the hotel, which was free!

Hotel was very clean, breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Room very comfortable and had everything we needed. Was very quiet, felt like a safe area walking back late at night. It is close to the trains /buses and getting to airport and city centre was very easy

Germany- internet was slow (9 MBit download / 3 Mbit upload), unless you sign up for their hotel rewards membership - I really dislike such a practice in hotels where they try to force to get even more data from customers for something that should be very normal for a paying customer in 2023 (= fast internet in a developed country) - very expensive restaurant even for small things - they try to exploit the situation that the hotel is literally in the middle of fields and the nearest restaurants are in the town (Hoofddorp) some 2 km away - soap in the wash basin was empty, so the soap from the shower had to be used - TV remote control was not working properly - one had to press literally 20+ times for a button to work and turn the TV on/off - payment was not possible at check-in (I wanted to have everything done at the check-in already so the check-out would be faster, but the reception clerk refused and said I would have to do it at checkout) - overall too expensive room rate given the location and what you get in the end
+ Modern, clean room + Comfortable bed + complimentary bottle of water, teabag and coffee powder provided + air condition was working fine and fairly quiet +/- vending machine with some basic things, incl. instant noodles - but also for an expensive price +/- location was in the middle of fields in an obviously newly developed part but only 5 min walk away from the railway station Hoofddorp with frequent connections to Schiphol airport (4 min by train)
