Easy checkin online but then I hd to pick-up the key at a neighbouring other branch, which was not obvious from the outset.

We arrived at Le Petit Marin and there was no reception. There was another Hotel of the same group called Le Marin 5 min walk away where you need to check in. Only a sign at the door gave this information, I was not aware of that otherwise and we walked by the other hotel from the trainstation before, so this information would have saved us a 10 min walk in total. The rooms are dark which makes checkout difficult (not to forget/oversee anything) but otherwise elegant. Under the bed not cleaned (we found garbage and a pen), rest very clean. Smaller things need repair, eg. door to the bathroom was broken. Hotel is near the train station (15-20 min walk) but otherwise not very central.

The hotel corridors and room were painted black so it was very dark. The room we booked was the most basic and it was very small, minimal room to walk around the bed. Easy to reach by public transport, but if you are walking this was quite a long walk from the train station.

Suitable for a 1 night stay. Room was clean and lovely big bathroom.

The room was all black, we did see this on the site but it felt darker and more cave like than in the pictures. The breakfast was at the other main hotel down the road, must have missed this when booking. Not massive but a little niggle

Limited storage space for clothes - no drawers. It was explained that staff shortage meant that reception would not be staffed after 5pm and we would have to contact another hotel nearby if any problem occurred. We didn't have any problems but it wasn't the best arrangement

We loved the stylish gold and black decor (though it might not be to everyone's taste!). The hotel is what the name says - boutique - small, stylish. personal. It is located in a quiet, beautiful, tree-lined street with a canal 100 metres away. We liked the fact that it wasn't right in the centre of town: a cosmopolitan, safe, relaxed residential area but not too far from the city's attractions by tram. The room wasn't huge but was spacious enough for our 3 night stay; the shower/bathroom was excellent; the bed was big and extremely comfortable, and the extras, like the coffee-maker and the fruit offered in the foyer, were appreciated. Staff were friendly and helpful (but see note below). Close enough to the station to walk, but also accessible by tram; some pleasant cafes nearby and an easy stroll to the historic p\art of Delfshaven. .

This hotel was lovely. We actually stayed here for just one night due to a cancelled flight home - however, it made what could have been a stressful situation really pleasant. The room was really nice - spacious, and super comfy bed. The ensuite was also really clean, modern, with a nice big and strong shower. It is a really convenient, short walk from Rotterdam Central station, and a good location for exploring the city. Would definitely stay here, and visit Rotterdam again.

There was no hot water during our stay and we couldn't take a shower. It was a one time thing due to heater issues. However, The hotel did offer a partial refund for the stay.

Occasional noise but not a big problem. €100 deposit seemed a bit wonky but I guess there are good reasons for it. Bit dark in bathroom!

Excellent location for station and comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Easy choice/refill of tea. Environmental scheme innovative re planting a tree if room not cleaned every day.

They ask me 250€ for caution (bail) when we arrive cause we have less than 21 years old. Then they told me I gonna get me money back 20 days after and I have to ask me get back my money

Room is very small compared to pictures online, and the hotel kept our security deposit of €100 after accusing us of smoking in the room (which we didn’t do) and refused to discuss this with us or provide any evidence to back this up whatsoever

Just a tiny thing. I felt it was missing coat hooks somewhere in the room. Perhaps on the back of the door? Otherwise, it was great.

The staff were super helpful before and after check-in. Easy walk from station. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and functional. There were tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Check-in had to be done at a different hotel nearby, staff switched the rooms said they didn't get the booking details from us, while everything was entered into Booking. Rooms (bathrooms especially) weren't clean. Breakfast possible, but at the other hotel.
