Bathroom was small. Not enough towels. No kleenex. No conditioner. Not very private.

The room had no soundproofing. We could hear everything from the hall and we woke up multiple times when other guests were leaving/entering their rooms. Our biggest issue was with the bathroom. There was no actual door but instead shutters. There were visible gaps and you could see into the bathroom no matter how well you tried to close the shutters. This also meant that you could hear absolutely everything. Additionally, you could see the bathroom lights very clearly from the room which was inconvenient at night as the bathroom was right next to the bed.

The location was excellent. Everything was very clean and the staff were lovely. Our request for a late check out was also approved quickly which we appreciated.

Very small room - told breakfast was at 7am on bank holiday Monday and when I queued whether this was the case was told definitely. Reality was it was available from 8am

The desk was supposed to be manned until 2:00 but we arrived at 12:00 and had to figure out how to open the main door. We had recieved an email explaining how to gain access if we arrived after that time so I had to dig it out and figure it out as I stood at the door. Mercifully it was not raining.

The room was very large, clean and the bed comfortable. It is a very high tech hotel with electronic locks which can open with a cell phone. Proximity to train station was good. We would definately stay again.

Not much! Breakfast felt a little expensive - the only hot food available was one boiled egg. There are so many places to eat nearby I'd probably skip it if I stayed again. But that's a very minor quibble.

Fabulous location - five minutes' walk from the station, yet right on the edge of the historic centre too. Very good service - we arrived before 1200 and were still able to check-in. A lovely light and very clean room, with a balcony! Excellent bed, very comfortable. I'd say it's excellent value.

Hotel reception is not 24/7 which is not really a problem in a very secure hotel but it did mean that we had to leave our bags in a locker in the train station on the last day. Not really an issue and it would not stop me staying at the hotel again

Spacious, spotless and very comfortable room. The location of the hotel is perfect for easy access to the train and bus stations as well as the city itself. Despite the wonderful location the room was very quiet with no disturbances from outside. The presence of a fridge and kettle is also important to me.

We had a basic room and it was small.

The location and the staff. The location was right between the train/bus station and centrum making both within east walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Initially, I did not like the fact that the reception wasn't manned throughout the day and that entry to the hotel and my room was by keyless entry with a digital app. My phone signal wasn't great which made it slightly problematical to gain access to the hotel and room. But once set up all was straight forward.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable with a good shower and nice bed linen. The location is great with the train station and the beautiful historic town just a few minutes walk away. There are some good restaurants nearby. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel but enjoyed breakfast at some of the excellent local cafes.

Very good location close to main square in old town. Instructions for accessing front door and hotel room were clear. Pleasant, well-equipped room. Leiden is a beautiful city with lots to see, and is convenient for visiting Keukenhof Gardens.

A bit hot in the room

Nice room, good to have a space downstairs to come together as a living room. Easy check in. Great breakfast which was good value.

The shower room was very small. I didn't like the wash basin being in the main room or the lack of privacy because of the style of the toilet door

The linens could have been cleaner, the room seemed a little dusty. I am sensitive to dust and was a bit bothered by it. (bathroom was clean)

The location was very nice. The room was comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive. The hotel was quiet and serene. They checked in before the stated check-in time (15.00), and it was very nice to be able to get into my room as soon as I arrived (around 14.00 - 14.30) on a stormy Leiden day.

Fantastic location just 10 minute walk from Leiden Central Station. Chose to stay here because I needed to catch a bus from the station at 07:30. Room was small but clean and had everything I needed: hairdryer; kettle; plenty of plug sockets. Staff weren’t there when I arrived (only work until 2pm) but sent clear instructions on how to access the hotel/my room.

The provision of a shelf to put toileteries on in the bathroom. A towel rail to hand towels on after use to dry our for the next day. The provision of a proper mug to make hot drinks in as the paper ones were too small and easily knocked over!

Room 305 was very unique and spacious. Beds were extremely comfortable.

No access to clothes Washer/Dryer facilities. Internet dropped out frequently and had to re-login each time you left and returned to the building- it would not auto-login by remembering the last login. The pub across the road is very noisy most nights we were there though. Sometimes noisy unit late hours eg 1-2 am

The location and large common lounge area for guests. Lifts were helpful to avoid carrying heavy luggage upstairs.

Our room was in the front making it a great people watching room, but also making it loud at night. The bathroom is a tight fit and plantation shutters as doors look cool, but do not offer much privacy. The shower is roomy, but the floors are slippery.

The location is close to Leiden Central train station, many restaurants and bars, and a bus stop making it super easy to explore Leiden. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions and needs. The bed was soft and comfortable. It also has an elevator!
