Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

South Africavery well run hotel, room is small but clean and the bonus of getting some money back if room isnt cleaned daily as part of our carbon footprint responsibility is amazing. I will definitely stay there again, walking distance to the ferry that crosses over to the old town and is a free ferry ride. Close to A'Dam and some lovely restaurants in the area

The region is a decent one with a lot of new construction and having a bike rental option and free ferry for 24 hrs makes life easier for sure but yet, especially during winter, you may prefer to be based in a more central location ...

Staff were amazing. Was clean. Small rooms but has everything you need. Every room has iron and ironing Board, which was great. Also the Aria was very peaceful and quite, yet very close to city center.

United Kingdomunfortunately this hotel is cashless and I only brought mostly cash so access to breakfast or self service was difficult. Windows that open in the room would be beneficial and the vents don’t really cool you down quick enough.

United KingdomWe found that our room got really warm in the night. The bike hire was costly compared to other places we found.
The location was good, a 20-minute walk to the closest train station. The majority of the staff was very friendly. I enjoyed the Purple Goes Green scheme a lot. We didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurant, but it all looked very nice and the bar area was a nice touch!

The beds are good, the room is nice. Colored lighting is cool too. The location is nice, easy to get to the Centraal and the city center.

GermanyI didn't have the greatest check-in experience at first, but then until the end, everything went well.
Very nice and high-tech hotel not far away from Amsterdam Center and Central Station. There is a ferry service near the hotel that operates 24/7, is free of a charge and connects the North Amsterdam, which the hotel located, with the central station. I recommend renting a bike, as it will be useful almost everywhere in Amsterdam and especially from the hotel to the ferry port and back. Parking slots are available all the time and one of the cheapest choices in Amsterdam. The bed was amazing and the breakfast was very basic, but good enough to help you start your day until you reach the Amsterdam center, which you'll have access to a huge variety of restaurants and cafes.
