It’s half under construction/renovation so a bit messy and only one elevator. Breakfast was only ok.

Location was good if you’re arriving or leaving by train, the male morning staff member was very kind, the room was better than I expected given the 7.5 score on booking.

The hotel is conveniently located at the edge of city center, 15-20 minutes walk to all points of interest. Within 5 minutes walk from the hotel there are two bus stops for airport bus (Flybus) giving you easy connection from/to the airport. The hotel has a charm as it is in the former bakery and there are many items and decorations from that era. The staff is very helpful and always available. There is reach breakfast with wide variety of choices available. You can stay in your room until noon which is very covenient. The hotel itself is good value for money.

There was not hot watwr in the hotel during our whole stay (5pm till 5 am in the mornong). We did not get any discount nor refund even tho we could not take shower/do the hygiene (there was only very cold water). Very dissapointed as the hotel was not cheap....wont come back

The fact we got room number wrong but still got in to another room!! Made for awkward exchange when real guests arrived!! Funny for us but probably needs an overhaul. Pet hate hairdryer you have to hold button down!

The shower takes a long time to get warm and then starts dancing around:) Looks like there is a pressure pump connected which starts after some minutes to pump hot water. No drama at all but a bit strange.

I like the combination of an old historical bakery building and a hotel. The rooms are a little basic and would need some renovation to make a real cosy feeling.

We had an amazing room on the 5th floor, big and with views beyond the city. Huge room, even bigger bathroom and shower. Great central location with all attractions and restaurants in walking distance. Parking available in hotel garage. Great breakfast buffet.

Breakfast was mediocre. The cold buffet was delicious with great variety. The hot food was foul. Staff - especially reception team - were the least friendly I have come across. Not rude, just totally disinterested.

Our (family) room had a bunk bed which was quite unstable. Given that we were four adults, our smallest guy had to sleep in the upper bed but still risked to make the bunk bed fall over. Bathroom is a bit outdated and could use renovation.

Nice hotel at a great location in Trondheim. Friendly staff, interesting big entrance (breakfast) hall. Breakfast with many options, fresh and delicious. Sauna facilities were not mentioned but are great! Clean room.

Not usually someone who stays in a Best Western, this was a fantastic find, right in the heart of Trondheim, and yet in a super quiet location. This converted crispbread factory had a lovely nostalgic charm, and there are pictures and cabinets of exhibits from when it was a bakery, which added to the authentic experience. The very good breakfast is served in a glass ceilinged atrium, and my room was very comfortable, big and quite plush for the more budget end of a Scandi hotel. I have spent a lot of time in Scandinavia and often the rooms are a bit too functional and lack warmth and charm. I will definitely stay there again next time I am visiting my friends in the city.

As a pet-friendly hotel, could they perhaps state rates for pets somewhere on the website? We did not understand from the booking that we should have written a message about bringing our small dog, nor that they charge for it. Perhaps we are just unexperienced pet-travellers, this was our first time. :)
