Was a little disappointed with the breakfast. The food was not hot, Luke warm at best. I know there is work going on and it is autumn but the ground floor walk ways had leaves in front of the room's.

Bed was really hard. A lot of work still ongoing and a lot of unexpected scaffolding we weren’t aware of until after we’d booked, but no building noise disturbed us.

Lovely clean modern new rooms and bathrooms. Location was central if you had a car and onsite parking was a must for us. Staff were helpful and good value for money.

Loved how the receptionist was so accommodating and told us our room was ready early so we could check in few hours early which was so nice.

Had breakfast and late checkout included in our booking. Buffet breakfast in the restaurant was very average. Quite a few dishes were not hot. Coffee from the coffee machine was not good. We had a late check out at 12.00pm but reception called us around 11.15 and asked when we were checking out. She didn't know we had a late checkout with our booking and said we should have alerted reception. Surely the Booking.com system should be able to alert the hotel? Apart from those two issues, stay was good..

Our room was spacous, comfortable and recently refurbished. Location was great with the rose gardens and park over the road. Very easy access to the motorway.

The buffet breakfast wasn’t available, had to order a la carte… lot of noise coming from the reconstruction in the restaurant - they could’ve give us something in return (welcome drink, etc.)

There was sound from the neighbouring rooms so sound proofing could be improved. The pillows could be repaced as they were unconfortable. Free and ample car parking although the spaces are tight.

Excellent location. Walking distance to Spark Arena so a great place to stay if going to a show there and you prefer to be away from the main city centre. All rooms have been renovated so lovely and fresh.

No soundproofing between rooms. The guests in the room beside us had their tv on ALL night.

Dinner took longer than normal time for restaurant staff to take orders and deliver orders, also don't ask if you would like another drink by regularly attending tables, had to go to the bar to get another drink. The staff were friendly. Need more towels to accommodate swimming and shower needs.

The cleaning lady was really nice and a caring, helpful, friendly and deserves a payrise!

The first receptionist told me for 15 minutes we had only booked 1 room, very frustrated by her, quickly resolved when another staff member came into the building. Also emails were very confusing...needs sorting
