Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe cold breakfast area in the lobby, but my bedroom was on the ground floor so the staff let me take my breakfast into my room.
Charming hotel with quirky Inca features.

United States of AmericaWe stayed here at the end of April’24 before going on the Inca trail hike. The hotel is conveniently located , about 10 minutes walk from Plaza de Armas. Hotel sent a car to pick up from the Cusco airport, at no extra cost! Room was spacious with a window to the street. We found everything clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served in the first floor courtyard, had enough variety of vegetarian choices. We enjoyed our overnight stay. , definitely recommend to stay here. Very good value for money.

United States of AmericaBathrooms could use a shelf for toiletries away from toilet. Too easy for items to fall in.
Very convenient to the main square. This is an easy walk with very little climbing of stairs or hills.

United States of AmericaVery friendly people that went above and beyond to take care of us. One of my friends was sick and receptionist called in a local doctor. She was eventually hospitalized overnight with a severe migraine. We didn’t have any idea what to do and were very grateful for the help.

United States of AmericaThe shower water was warm, but didn't get very hot.
The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. They even offered me a breakfast to go when I had to depart at 4:30am. The room has standard amenities and is in a great location. It was comfortable and met my needs. While you can hear people in other rooms at times, I found the hotel to be quiet overall, especially for sleeping.

United States of AmericaIt was a bit tricky to keep the shower water from spilling out onto the floor, but that’s definitely not specific to this location.
I could not imagine more hospitable staff. The team treated us like family, from the daily delicious breakfast to personalized recommendations about our daily activities.

United Arab EmiratesGluten free option for breakfast box (e.g. some gf bread or patacones or potatoes would be good) as otherwise it's just a couple slices of ham & cheese in a little plastic bag.
Rooms was spacious, bed was huge & comfortable. Heating was controllable from the room so it meant we could turn it up ourselves and not be cold. Complimentary airport pickup. Breakfast was good. They looked after our bags free of charge while we did the 4 day inca trek.

United States of AmericaThe staff at the hotel were outstanding. Every staff member greeted us upon every encounter and were all very welcoming; this is how all customer service staff should behave, but is harder to find in today’s world. The hotel is quaint and authentic. Everything was comfortable and very clean. The morning breakfast was very good with eggs made-to-order, pastries, fruits, and yogurt. The property is located on a side, dead-end street, so it is quieter than most areas. Despite this, it is only a few blocks walking to the main square. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, etc. all within a few minutes walking. If we come back to Cusco, this is without a doubt, where we will stay. This may have been our best stay in our two weeks in Peru.

United KingdomThe property was perfect for us.
There was a lot to like about the property - the location was amazing, situated in the pretty San Blas area allowing for an easy walk to points of interest (main square, panoramic view points, San Pedro market). The property itself was lovely with it’s decor giving off old fashion ranch vibes - wooden furniture, old ceiling beams and exposed floorboards. The staff were amazing. So helpful and caring, making the effort to ensure everything was OK and we had everything we needed. Breakfast was great; a continental offering with eggs, hams, bread, avocado and cereals and plenty of nice juices.

United KingdomWe would have preferred a room higher up to see the lights of the city. Also, if you are just arriving in Cusco without acclimatising to the altitude, please get a cab to the hotel - its up a hill and you will likely get out of breath and dizzy!
The other reviews comment upon the high level of service in this nice hotel - we absolutely agree. The owners couldn't be more helpful. Nice room and a nice buffet breakfast.

United KingdomLoved our room! Was comfortable, nice size and very quiet. We had the ‘spacious double’ for three nights and then had another night in a regular double after a multi day hike which was also comfortable. The spacious room was our preference. The staff was helpful, breakfast tasty and it’s in a good location, near nice restaurants / cafes and close enough to the main square for ease but far enough away for a peaceful sleep / rest. My husband loved having a TV with good channels and could even watch a football game from the UK!
