The location is very good, the staff is friendly and answers all the questions. They even offer breakfast for such a low price.

There was a terrible smell coming from the bathroom ventilation i suppose, that was not pleasant at all... After the first night, things were better as far as the smell is concerned... The breakfast was not so rich, but for 3 nights ok....

The hostel is close to Wawel, spacious room (#3 for 2 adults and a kid) and clean enough....

The entry codes should be changed more often because an unauthorized person entered to look for a forgotten phone. This is an important aspect because there is no 24-hour reception as mentioned.

The receptionist was extremely helpful, he managed to solve a delicate problem I had during my stay. The entire staff was very nice, I could stay few hours after check out and work from the kitchen.

The room kinda smelled a little bit gross - but otherwise it was really comfortable and nice. The location was a bit far from the city center but it wasn’t too bad either.

We had little problems with parking place - if you go by car let them know in time to reservate the parking place for you. The hotel has just few places, when we had come it was full, but we find place near from hostel and during weekend it was free.

Very nice hostel in the centre of Krakow at a good level - equipment, staff, cleaness. Really close to the center, you dont need to use public transport, can go by foot. There is a bus stop right next to the hostel from where you can go to Wieliczka! Great. We liked the included breakfast, tasty.

The place was not only huge but in super clean conditions all the time, I had to prolong my stay for various reasons and the staff was not only helping with it but giving me facilities all the time. The internet connection was amazing and the place felt very safe. Price super absolutely fair (and cheap to my opinion).

Our room didn’t had blinds so we struggled a bit with outside lights. Plus our room was in the 5th floor and the elevator only went up to the 3rd so we had to use the stairs.

We had a really nice breakfast and the hostel was all the time really quite, plus we needed to get to the airport and the bus station is just outside the hostel which was great!

All the best! The bathroom is in the room and all the thing was settled down before you came. And they even prepared a lunch box because I have an early flight. But you have to inform the front desk first. Sooo nice and I really enjoy my time here

I highly recommend Ginger ApartHostel based on my three-week stay in Krakow. This establishment is truly exceptional, offering a delightful atmosphere complemented by a friendly and accommodating staff. Additionally, the central location of Ginger ApartHostel in Krakow is a major advantage. It allowed me convenient access to key attractions and made exploring the city hassle-free.

I didn't mark the score down for this, but since Krakow was so snowy everyone entered the hostel with wet shoes and there was no rug in reception which would have kept things a lot cleaner. Also the bathroom didn't have a bathmat so the floor got quite wet. Really small problems.

Truthfully everything, I booked this last minute just as a place to rest for one night and it by far exceeded expectations. it was prices ~25% higher than other hostels but absolutely worth it. The woman at check in was very kind, explained everything well. The room was warm (Krakow was cold and snowy at the time), all beds had power sockets, and were clean and comfortable. Lockers were available for free using a provided key. Breakfast was way better than expected, normally a free hostel breakfast is toast or cereal but this had all kinds of fruits, vegetables, cheese, meat, coffee, tea, juice, baked goods etc. There was also a kitchen if you prefer to cook lunch/dinner yourself. It is not exactly in the center but a quick walk away.

Light doors, you can hear everything that happens in the corridor (I was lucky, it was quiet). There was no shampoo or shower gel in the shower. There is no parking.

Good location, acceptable breakfast, pleasant staff, everywhere is clean and tidy.
