The booking process of the restaurant could be improved. Often we booked through the WhatsApp contact and then once at the restaurant they didn’t have our booking.

Older hotel that needs a little updating. The halls had a strong humid smell but the rooms were fresh when you opened the sliding doors to the fresh sea breeze!

Beautiful setting right on the beach. Breakfast was good and front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Beds very comfortable!

Sea side location is excellent but it is away from any nightlife. Balcony views, sunsets were beautiful. Rooms spotless, bed comfortable.

The HVAC controls were very outdated and difficult to understand. The hotel is pretty old but is kept up well.

The location is wonderful. All rooms overlook the pool and ocean beyond. We were there the week before the pool opened so we didn't get to use it. They were filling it and it looked faboulous. The beach next to the hotel is very wide with tons of space. The restaurant was very good, again with wonderful views over the pool to the ocean. We easily could have enjoyed several days at the pool/beach in the summer without needing to leave.

Everything not great was on me- expected warmer weather so brought clothes accordingly. I didn't realize how remote this is, so a car would have been nice. There was nothing at all wrong at the hotel.

I can't really think of anything.

The best part of our stay here was the exceptional location. Literally, we were on a beach. The constant sound of the waves was so relaxing and mesmerizing. It was wonderful. The hotel is very nice. Our room was very clean and quite comfortable. The staff members were friendly and helpful, both at the reception desk and in the restaurant. The breakfast was great, offering many varied choices from savory (eggs, meats and cheeses) to sweet (pastries and fruit). Couldnt ask for more. There were a few really good restaurants within walking distance. We went to one of them twice.

It is very cool to get asleep hearing the sea waves, but in the middle of the night it can be a bit noisy for light sleepers. A slighty better noise isolation in the windows facing the sea would be desirable.

Very good location just on top of the beach, with a stunning view over the sea. Very good breakfast, and helpful and friendly staff. Big rooms with a nice balcony.

That we didn't have more days

The most amazing spot ever, from the view to the big cozy room everything was perfection. The staff are incredibly kind, delicious food in the restaurant, everything is in perfect order and clean. The rooms are very big, comfortable bed with incredibly fine pillows, amazing shower and the balcony has the most incredible picturesque views. Don't skip the bar and the restaurant, the food was much nicer than the restaurants around. The beach has perfect sand, very safe coast for swimming and plenty of surfers to watch. We loved everything about the place!

...parking was a bit tricky when full. The quoted price was for a floor with more a view of the pool than ocean so paid extra to be on higher floor with more ocean view....so a bit of bait and switch.

Buffet breakfast was very good and it's a 15 min Uber ride to sintra while enjoying the ocean views . Staff was helpful and friendly.

The dinner menu at the restaurant is quite limited if you don't fancy fish or red meat, and there's no real alternatives within walking distance.

Absolutely amazing location. Spacious room with a private terrace, overlooking the ocean. Great price for a room & breakfast. Very friendly staff.
