A wonderful isolated island of beauty. In the country side, with the all the sights and sounds of rural life. The host pamper you like royalty. She is a fabulous cook, harvesting items from her garden.

All the facilities are top notch. The owner is so helpful and sweet. The dinner (€15) was incredible. Breakfast (€5) was also wonderful. The room (hostel portion) was super clean, brand new, great bathroom and bedding. I cant say enough wonderful things about this hostel...and there are also private rooms. There is an inground pool and umbrella table and chairs to hang out. It has been the best hostel i have stayed at as a Camino Portugal pellingrino. You should definitely stay here.

Maybe it’s better to add some sign (at least some simple symbols or logo) on the main door, it was hard to find at all.

Usually pilgrims choose Albergaria a Velha, 5-6km less than here. But I recommend you to spend your 5-6km and stay here. Everything is great here. Whole place is very well equipped with eco-friendly materials or non-disposable items. Room is cozy and I never used this size of bunker bed before. It’s big enough for taking a good sleep. And shower is amazing too. You can’t find anywhere with this price/quality but here. And the pilgrim stamp is one of a kind here. The most unique stamp I’ve ever seen. Dinner was optional with additional charge/(drinks incl.), and it worth. I really enjoyed it and it’s a bummer that I can’t eat too much usually. Host family is very friendly, even the big doggy Felix too. Laundry service is available (extra cost)

The owners are very friendly. Location is quiet and peaceful. Everything in the room is new and clean. It’s nice to have some welcome-candies, the breakfast is for donation. You can use washing machine for 4€. The territory of the place is great, you have everything: kitchen, swimming pool. And I like animals as well - there are funny birds and a dog:)

The gate in the morning was locked and so I had to climb over the wall/ fence. Slightly awkward.

Really comfy bed, including bedding and towels. I didn’t get to use the outside facilities as it was very stormy weather while I was there. But it was great to arrive and get a shower and change to dry clothes! Kitchen is available but will need to grab food off site. Stamp for Camino is amazing!

Everything! The owners are VERY experienced peregrinos. They warmly welcomed this very wet, very weary pilgrim to their beautiful property. My room was spectacular—beautiful, super clean, the absolute best shower I have experienced anywhere in the world! A super comfortable bed. Everything a wet, weary pilgrim longs for. The owners were INCREDIBLY kind. A bountiful and delicious dinner after 30km walking in the rain. Breakfast was equally bountiful and equally delicious. Hungry pilgrims arrive, but no pilgrim could possibly ever leave hungry. While it rained cats and dogs snd I opted to stay dry inside, the grounds look lovely, even in the rain, and there is a lovely pool. Everything a weary pilgrim could dream of one finds here—-you simply cannot go wrong staying here. It is fantastic. Finally, the proprietor extended me an extraordinary kindness regarding my misplaced eyeglasses—-truly extraordinary kindness. Obrigado obrigado obrigado! Thank you for the wonderful wonderful stay. Hot tub not hot- ie less than body temperature ( true of every Portuguese hot tub we have encountered so far)

Sandra our hostess was a delight. Welcoming helpful and made a nice breakfast. Room (4 bed dorm) was well organized and comfortable with good storage and hangers. Bathroom clean and everything worked.

Not a thing!

Breakfast was great and they prepared it early so I could depart for the Camino at 7am. The pool and facilities were excellent. The family was extremely service oriented and made sure I had everything I needed.

If you are hiking the Camino you must stay here. A pilgrim hospitalero takes care of your every need. The place was just built and very clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are new & the pool is great for relaxing your legs after a long hike with a beer.

Amazing place. When I arrived I could not believe that they give you all this nice facilities for a cheap price. The owners are super friendly and nice. They also have a very nice dog. I also went fishing with the owner one day which was very cool.

There was still smoking cigarette butts in the night stand. It was smelly. Smoking definitely ocurred right before our stay.

Its a family home offering to host and definitely very relaxing. A beautiful scene.

Finding the place was a bit tricky because our data with meo on the drive up kept dropping our map, so make sure you have clear directions saved :) we were having the same issue with Waze and with Google Maps.

Beautiful, quiet out in the country manicured space. Lovely sweet Portuguese host. Comfortable immaculate new climate controlled rooms. Great stop when you are between city locations but still within half an hour of several choices. CLEAN comfortable salt water pool and sun loungers to relax. Great wifi for work. Nice cute breakfast with several nice choices in lovely dedicated modern outdoor Portuguese climate controlled bbq/kitchen area.

Really NOTHING!

Everything was perfect from my point of view. Started from a clean, wide modern room with a private bathroom to a warm welcome, delicious meals and the friendly behaviour of the owners. I really recommend this wonderful place to everyone! ♡
