Not a bad point as such, just took me a day to get used to the layout and location of doors/keys.

Breakfast was nice a selection of cheese, ham, fruit, fresh bread and scrambled eggs on request. Hotel staff were superb: exceptionally friendly and helpful - impeccable service. Room was nice, fridge, comfy bed, good aircon, walk in shower. Balcony was a nice suntrap from 14:00 onwards and lovely to have the breeze on warm days, meandering it's way through the room. The hotel has a massive stock of wine, port and cheeses etc. We very much recommend sampling the port at the hotel. Location is superb, right in the heart of old town. Five minute walk to the bus and train station, public transport is cheap and affordable. Free pool table was in a nice room to play in. Loads of restaurants within a few minutes walk. Virtually everyone speaks some english. People in the Algarve are very friendly and helpful.

Quirky, eclectic, hotel. Comfortable bedroom and ensuite. Extensive breakfast with fresh orange juice, lovely coffee, cheese, meat, fruit, yoghurt, and pastries.

The hotel is super central, the beds are very comfortable, the breakfast is plenty, and Pedro has incredible wine, port, and champagne knowledge. If you like port testing, this is the place to go.

The layout of the building is like a maze. More attention needs to be devoted to maintenance details as the building is old. It would have been nice to have better towels.

The breakfast was delicious and beautifully served. The wine tasting we had was excellent and reasonably priced. The food at dinner was superb and beautifully presented. The owners and staff treat guests like part of the family and do their utmost to take care of them well.

Nothing - it was perfect for a short stay

The staff were super helpful and friendly and the location was excellent to walk around Faro. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay long enough to sample their wine collection.

This was a very neat, eclectic property. A lot of great areas to enjoy. Very clean. Our meal with wine pairings was fantastic- one of our best meals on our trip.

Having to leave after 2 wonderful nights.

Beautiful guest house, owners & staff were so friendly & helpful. We loved our stay, we loved the breakfast experience & the owners catered very well for my gluten free husband which we really appreciated. Our bedroom & bathroom were spacious with lovely bedlinen, towels & toiletries. We enjoyed the port tasting with Pedro & would recommend doing that during your stay. If you want to stay in Faro, then look no further, we were super impressed with this amazing place. It is close to the old town, lovely restaurants & cafes plus great transport links.

It was great, no notes !

This place is a hidden gem! We were delighted and every turn. The house was cozy and comfortable. The owner is a wine expert and very passionate about the fabulous wine collection they have. We decided to have dinner there, and it was one of the most amazing meals of our lives seafood, and the most delicious wines and ports. We really appreciated all of the care. The owner took to explain the wines and share their passion about it.

Terrace needs some work, canapy broken, arms permanently extended. Exposed brickwork makes it very ugly, needs plants, flowers, decorative lights to make it a relaxing environment. In the bathroom the toilet seat needs tightening and a glass for toothbrushes would be good. Did ask for one but it never arrived. Charge to make a coffee seems a bit cheeky.

Great location and wonderful hosts at this boutique hotel. . We had a delayed arrival but they still put on a great cheese board and wine in arrival at 10pm. The breakfast was great with a wide choice of continental offerings . As our host specialised in wine we did a wine tasting which was excellent and good value for the quality of what we had . Room and facilities were good . We rarely return anywhere but we will go back to Opus one. The Wifi password was your home and that is exactly how they made us feel .
