No wifi in room and poor response to my observation - advising me it had been uplifted across hotel. There was zero reception in my room. Please note this was one manager - the rest of staff were really lovely and accommodating.

Great location comfy bed & parking - although they said if you book thru booking.com you have to pay but not if direct thru their website. I’ve had issues with booking.com not being clear about parking. Anyway the lovely person on reception gave it to me free anyway.

Lights in corridors :movement sensitive ..in theory.You invariably ended up walking in the dark Underground car park very very cramped to drive into and had erratic movement sensitive lights Rooms good breakfast fine but helpful nice staff ..but spent most of their time helping staff with erratic coffee machines

We didn't use the swimming pool (on the rooftop) as the signs said that it was mandatory to wear a swimming cap. We didn't want to, nor did we have one with us. We were unlucky with both our two restaurant choices for our two nights in Nasare as neither of them could accommodate us. In fact on our first night, highly recommended 'Rosa Dos Ventos' told us in person that they didn't open until 18:45 and if there was a table available we could eat. We arrived at 18:44 and the restaurant was already full of people or reserved for 19:00hrs! Rather upsetting. The second day we went into 'Restaurante Gil Vicente' at lunchtime to make a booking for that evening, but told (quite abruptly) that they were closed, even though their "closed night" had been the night before. We did find some friendly and welcoming restaurants as alternatives: Aleluia (on the front, and grilled mixed fish platter very good) and Versus (just around the corner from Hotel Praia with a good choice and passionate proprietor).

Although the room was a little short on storage, the bed was large (as expected) and the central location was excellent being directly opposite the public market, a couple of minutes walk to the beach and a lot of restaurants to choose from within easy (flat) walking distance (5 - 10 minutes). The private parking was easily accessible. The funicular [going up to the top of the cliff] is about 10 minutes walk away from the hotel and operates (up and down) every 15 minutes.

Our room was a huge suite. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom by European standards was large with good water pressure. The staff were friendly. The location was less than 1/2 block from the beach. Loved all the shops and cafes by the waterfront. Breakfast was included and did the job. Garage was really tight, but we lucked out with a good spot.

Wifi was not working. Staff in the morning did hardly spoke English. Pool is only open after 10am (so we did not use it). There is a taxi stand at the front which has a telephone ringing (not during the night).

Room was on first floor, on the street - so kind of noisy - coffee shop that closes late right under the room, and “taxi station” across the street (when people call a taxi, it rings loudly until a taxi driver picks up the phone). Also, room cleaning done relatively late with lots of detergent made the room hard to breathe in.

Awesome location, close to the beach but not on the beach, nice staff, private parking (costs 5€/night), spacious room with nice balcony.

We stayed here twice, the place is very good - perfect breakfasts, big rooms, and nice staff. I highly recommend this place. It will take some time to get to the lighthouse and the viewing points, but for us, the location was very good - close to the bus station and to all the main things we wanted to visit in town.

Room needed some routine technical maintenance. Taps, shower, chair. Actually the swivel chair in the room collapsed during our stay due to rust in the base.

Location in the city centre of Nazare, close to restaurants and beach. Nice redecorated modern rooms.
