Simple hotel with space to park, a short walk from the centre of Chaves which is a very pretty little town.

Rooms could be cleaned a little more thorough. Found a pretty big hair in the shower.

The Staff was very welcoming and the price for the accomadation was also very good. On my way out I received some chocolate from the Lady, with the words "for the children" which I found quite funny.

The place is basic and clean. The lady that jointly runs the place spoke English and was very helpful . I was on a Motorcycle and it was perfect for what I needed. It’s a short walk to pretty much everything you need . Breakfast was not being provided when I was there. But for that I just walked down the road a bit. Or combined it with a bit of morning shopping.I found the place to be a good base for exploring quite a large area . I was only meant to stay three nights. But actually stayed a further four more. It was very good value for money in my opinion .My room had aircon and a tv. Although I don’t think I used either.If I was to go back to Chaves again I would happily stay here again.

This was our 3rd visit in 9 months and we have another booked in July. For us it is conveniently placed and excellent value for money, if you want a 5* hotel, then pay 5* prices. The owners and staff are lovely, very friendly and informative, the same this time as our first visit last year. It's why we returned.

a little noisy but everyone was very respectful and tried to be considerate about others.

Family oriented place that has a traditional but extremely clean and neat look. It has Wi-Fi and TV included and the restroom was clean and contemporary feel. The card key system is super convenient!

Room was great for the price with free motorcycle parking and free wifi close enough to town less then a10 min walk I was early in the season so no breakfast option at the time but no problem close to cafe restaurants and bars

Staff could be a bit friendlier, but not too bad. Building is old, but for the price was OK. Biggest issue is lack of indoor insonorization.

The Noise from other Guests carried through the Guest house quite badly, also there was No Breakfast, tea or coffee.

The Location was extremely Handy for the Start of Portugal's Nation 2 Tourist Route South.

No staff at reception for check-in and check-out. Access to the hotel without any control at the entrance. Ignorance of the reservation at the time of check-in, even with appointment and indication of arrival time made six days in advance and payment made four days before.

Where should I start? - Forget the private parking. I asked during the reservation and the check in; the answer was "Put the car in the front (where it fits 2 or 3 cars, and it was already full) or in front of the neighbors, they won't mind." So the private parking was why I chose this place, unfulfilled. - Arrived to the room, no wifi password. Grabbed the phone and called the reception asking for the password. The answer was "Look, call back later because I have many people here to check in." Giving the password (which is a number) would be faster than the answer he gave. I took the stairs from the second floor without a lift to grab a photo of the board with the password which was in front of the guy. Came back to the second floor but the Wifi didn't work at all. Not in 2 phones, neither in one tablet. - If u wake up early in the morning, (I believe I was the first) and you want to shower just let the water run until warm water comes, just wait eventually it will come. - in the end I paid 20€ less than in "Hotel premium chaves aqua flaviae" and there included breakfast, here not. There would have also a lift if you have a back problem, it helps a lot; and possibly kind people. Here I didn't found one.

Matress and pillows are great!
