Location perhaps is too good. 3 steps from main door to get into tram, bus station nearby. Square across the hotel has bar/Cafe that opens till late & busking musicians playing all day till late as well. One particular night I couldn't sleep because travelers got drunk & shouted.

Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Room was small, but they organize the space efficiently. Housekeeping staff does excellent job to maintain everything clean. I love the wooden floors that they mop everyday. Very nice breakfast with fresh fruits. Bedding comfortable. They have cable channels, I was able to watch American programs with english. Hotel offers coffee/tea , bottled water available at front desk that I appreciated greatly. Shops and restaurants everywhere outside the hotel. No time to get hungry or bored.

Small room, even smaller bathroom.

Room was definitely small as other reviews have noted, but it was super clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also a delightful surprise with more options than usual breakfasts at hotels.

Nothing other than the elevator being very small but nothing to complain about.

The building interior is gorgeous, the room was very spacious, clean and modern. Fantastic bed and shower. Location couldn't be beaten.

Location was excellent! Staff were extremely helpful, especially Igor. Breakfast was amazing, better than expected. Enjoyed the piano playing in the background as well. Overall, very nice hotel to stay when in Lisbon.

A small wish list if ever one could top perfection . . . . a room safe for valuables, and pillows that we slightly more comfortable.

Room 4 on the 3rd floor. Simple but elegant. Breakfasts were a pleasure. I made a point of getting down as you opened, to enjoy the peace of the lovely room before it filled up. All very good.

Couldn’t keep the window open because of the inner court noises. The two-bed rooms are oriented towards the inner court so no view, but the room is very quiet with the window shut.

Great location, beautiful old building, simple room but very clean and with air conditioning. Breakfast in a nice setting with live piano music every morning!

Nothing! it was perfect

It was the hotel out of a dream! It was our first stay in Europe and they exceeded our expectations. The location was right in the middle of a beautiful square that our room looked out to. It was maybe 600 feet away from the metro as well but you could easily walk from the location. The hotel itself was so beautiful and had so much character. Our room made us feel like we were staying in a castle with the beautiful yellow and blue. The best part of our stay was by far the breakfast atmosphere. There was a live pianist, the breakfast room had beautiful windows that natural light poured in, and they served every breakfast item you can imagine on incredible display. The memories of eating breakfast there will forever be some of the best memories on my trip. Can't recommend enough!!

Loved it all, though tea facilty and bottled water in room would have been appreciated.

We loved the this hotel for our Mother daughter trip. Perfect location on the grand Chiado square, meeting place for walking tours and a stop for the famous 28 tram. Don’t be put off by the unassuming entrance and mini lift. The room was beautiful and very clean. Great shower and toiletries. We had a gorgeous view of the square and it was fully soundproof. I would suggest requesting view of the square. Excellent shops, bars and restaurants close by, as well as metro. We walked to Alfama and all main attractions. The breakfast was amazing and served in a beautiful salon, and the accompanying piano playing made it extra special. Would highly recommend.

Our Room with window facing the aircon units with little natural light in the room. Other rooms were available however with nicer views. Breakfasts could start a little earlier say 7.30 am instead of 8 am ito allow those people to have a decent breakfast before taking excursions which usually start at 8.15am, although a breakfast bag was offered., and provided.

Comfy beds, attentiveness of staff, lovely plentiful and wide selection of breakfast and lovely ambience with the piano player each morning, cleanliness of rooms and excellent location. Fresh tea and coffee available whenever we wanted at reception. Free shuttle service from airport to hotel provided by booking,com.

Centrally located, famous tram E28 stops right next to the hotel and free walking tours start on a plaza next to it. Good breakfast with live piano player added to the vibe of Lisbon. Rooms are small, but that’s Europe so no complaints about that. Clean facility, very accommodating staff, you can keep your luggage before check-in and after check-out as long as you need. And the elevator! Great addition so you don’t have to carry your bags up and down. Plaza is very much alive at night and loud but hotel has amazing sound proofing windows so you’ll sleep like a baby. Recommended!!!

The proteas across a small courtyard with live music and a kiosk that sold cold beer! Noise level was high if you had your balcony wi Dow open. But as soon as you closed it was fine.
